After spending hundreds of dollars trying every type of box and litter imaginable, we discovered the Smart Cat Box. The safflower seed litter has a pleasant organic scent and there is no dust or sandy debris. Here's How the Smart Cat Box Works
The patented system consists of two nested boxes. The top box holds non-absorbent safflower seed litter pellets. It has a slotted floor to allow the flow of urine directly into a covered, removable collection reservoir housed in the bottom box. The reservoir holds up to 24 ounces, so it only needs to be emptied once per day. A slotted scooper picks up everything else. You can extend the walls of your Smart Cat Box with the Plus 5" Wall Extension. If you're not planning to house your Smart Cat Box in a litter box concealer, this solution will reduce tracking and urine spraying on the walls and floor. The wall extension is easy to assemble and insert into the Smart Cat Box. It cleans up easily with soap and water. We use two Smart Cat Box systems in our home: one out in the open with the wall extension, and one in a litter box concealer without.
