Looking for information on Asperger's?
Over the last few years I have spent a lot of time looking for Asperger's information, too. I'd like to share with you some of the many resources I've found, and give you my own personal reviews of them.
What's interesting is, you don't just come across info for you about your child; there are books about parenting an Aspie child (more focused on the parent), books for the sibs of Autism-spectrum kids, and even for the child with Asperger's him- or herself.
There are books about living as a family when one member has Asperger's, and about deciding to homeschool your Asperger's son or daughter.
There are books to help explain Asperger's to family and friends, and books for teachers and paraprofessionals with Aspie kids in their care. There are even kids' chapter books with Aspie main characters!
Not a lens to explain, just to point you in directions where you can learn more....
I'm no expert, and it's not my goal here to explain Asperger's Syndrome, but to point you to many resources where you can learn more about it yourself. Now grab your reading glasses and get ordering those books and checking out these websites! There's a lot to learn!

- My son is an aspie too.
I was never diagnosed, but I think I have a mild form as well as I can do the hyper-focus thing when I am not tired and it is like a photographic memory.
After many years of being out of college, I can still "see" my notes and "hear" the prof speaking.
Yes, being an aspie isn't all bad if you can learn to control it ;)
Organically Yours,
Diana
