I am a librarian and have always wanted to be one ever since I was young. Have you always wanted to be a librarian or are you thinking about become one? or maybe you already are one? At the same time, as much as I love librarianship, let's face it there isn't much money in it, so I also work from home part time.

Just tried to post but it didn't go through :( anyway i was just saying that I've used Shelfari before and found it really useful to discuss books with others, or get first-hand reviews of books I haven't read already. The other thing I was saying is to bookmark Infloox.com cos it's like a literary search engine online and should be a great tool for fellow librarians and/or English lit teachers.

I am looking into becoming a school librarian, don't like the ideal of having to teach in a classroom for 2 years though.That means a year or two getting certified in addition to library science program.
