Astral Travelling Expands Your Reality!
During astral projection, as we become separated from the physical body, our consciousness is quite literally assimilating large quantities of new data, giving us an expanded outlook on life that stays with us long afterwards. Like in the dream world, possibilities in the astral dimension appear infinite. You want to fly ? You can fly. You want to go through a wall ? You can. What would you like to experience that you never could in ordinary waking life ?
Binaural Beats Can Induce Astral Travelling
If you have had an out of body experience before, you may be wondering how to induce it consciously. Many people have had brief, spontaneous encounters with astral projection but don't know how to go about inducing it at will. If you have never experienced it, you might not know how to get into the appropriate altered state of consciousness or are unsure of what to expect.Binaural beats are a simple tool that can help you achieve astral travelling consciously and easily. Put simply, they consist of sound waves used to stimulate the brain into generating the same frequencies that it would be producing during an out of body experience. As the brain begins to create the desired frequencies (4-7 Hz), the process of altering the consciousness happens on its own. The listener need only be receptive and in a relaxed state. From there, projecting the consciousness out of the physical body becomes much easier.
The How and What of Astral Travelling

Ok so the above picture would depict a spectacular astral projection, ahah! It is not necessarily representative of what you can expect. Nevertheless, it does convey the sense of wonder often present in these occurences. This is not to say that some people do not feel fear. It is, after all, a startling encounter with the unknown!
How to Induce the Out of Body Experience
1. As you relax and listen to the binaural beats (10-30 min) in a quiet room, your main attention should be shifting gently to your astral or energetic body. You will begin to feel this more so than the physical body.
2. Once you are in this very relaxed state of consciousness, you can expect the transition out of the body to occur very fast. Try to get a sense of or visualize going out of the physical body. To me, when it happens, it feels like I am sucked out of my body by a vaccum. It is a pleasant sensation. Some people feel as though they are 'sinking out' of their body. Just before you do go out, you may hear a buzzing noise in your head - this is normal and of no concern.
3. What happens next is up to you! Though until you learn to navigate in the astral dimension you may feel not entirely in control. Many people report these occurences during astral travelling :
- Flying in the sky and generally moving about in a hovering manner
- Going through walls and all kinds of solid matter
- Turning your attention to where the physical body lay and seeing it from the outside
- Encountering various presences, engaging communication with them
- Travel long distances in a flash
- Seeing other people you know as they sleep or whatever they are doing
It is quite possible that your first few experiences will be short. It is not always easy in the beginning to handle oneself and maintain one's presence in this sphere of reality as the alterity of it all is rather astounding and your reaction can have you come out of the experience.
If at any time you feel uncomfortable or threathened, you need only think about coming back to your body and you will. For me, when I am uncomfortable, I come back so quickly I am not even aware of the moment I thought about coming back.
