The Robot Boy Who Started It All
The original Astro Boy series of cartoons dates back to the 1960's and was the first in a series of what is now known as Anime.
Astro Boy was created as a Manga back in 1951 by the Japanese artist, Osamu Tezuka .
I remember watching this cartoon as a very young child and "flying" around my living room right along with him.
This lens is a tribute to Astro Boy from a long-time fan. Enjoy!

- Oh Astro Boy SCARED ME TO DEATH. I still sort of remember his theme song. So that was anime, was it, oh so long ago? I get shivers just thinking about Astro Boy.
