Astrology is Rubbish!

I think that at best Astrology is an outdated belief system, at worst it is a scam. To me it seems wholly ridiculous that stars that are light years away have any influence upon our personalities, actions and our very future. Especially when you consider that the stars themselves that make up the various zodiac signs are light years away from each other and are not connected in any way. Many of the stars that we see on a clear night are so far away that the light takes many years to reach us. In fact it takes so long that some of the stars that we see do not even exist any more, so I don't know how that fits into Astrological thinking!

My belief is that our personality traits are a product of our genes, the way we are brought up by our parents, the society in which we live, our socialization and the experiences that we have. Our future will be formed by the choices we make and by chance. Nothing whatsoever to do with the influence of the stars and planets.

But then being a Scorpio, that's the kind of thing I would say isn't it!!
