- Hi, interesting information, it resolved some mysteries. I always wondered about that weird white structure by the asu stadium (for wrestling), and the Mouer building. It's nice to know that all buildings' names have their history and Irish Hall wasn't named Irish just because.
P.S. the Unstable Wind Tunnel really intrigues me...I wish it would still be there.

- The "old football stadium" was called Goodwin Stadium. The seating stands on either side were formidable concrete structures. The West side was University offices and storage; the East side was a dorm affectionately called: "Animal Hall". Goodwin was used by Tempe High School for a time because it was the only stadium in Tempe.

- Mr. Doiron - Thank you for this information. I will add it verbatim to the top. Apparently Goodwin Stadium stood on the SRC grounds and where the parking structure across the street stands. It looks like it also had much the same structure that UofA's old football stadium has, including offices and dorms.
