ASUS N55SF-DH71 Review

The integrated subwoofer is not genuinely that good though, it sounds truly muffled so I just use my Logitech Z-4 speakers and they sound wonderful. The touchpad works fantastic however it is really a little big and close for the keyboard so when I type I at times move the cursor but I have not yet clicked anything so it does not deserve 1 less star.

I have played some games on ASUS N55SF-DH71 like Company of Heroes and Globe of Warcraft and they perform extremely nicely on medium to high settings. I play around the medium settings because I'd rather have it appear a little worse with no skipping than looking great with skipping. The sound is superb, it is as excellent as Asus makes it out to become but needless to say you will discover much better whenever you buy stand alone speakers. If some of you might be worrying concerning the keyboard layout, I say it is as great as any keyboard is going to obtain for a laptop. It works quite well and I've not even missed a crucial but so if you would like a good keyboard that doesn't mess you up then select this laptop.

With the battery life for this spec of a laptop, the excellent keyboard, the power for games, I have to say that this ASUS N55SF-DH71 is a great multimedia gaming laptop. The Blu-Ray drive does play Blu-Rays but you nevertheless have to buy computer software to actually play the Blu-Rays. I just got PowerDVD 11 and employed the HDMI output onto my LED Television and it looks just great. The USB 3.0 slots and power port are on the left side which is a superb thing since I put my mouse on the best. The ethernet port is also on the left side. Would I recommend this? Of course, I was able to get it for $1200 here on amazon in addition to a $75 amazon gift card.
