ASUS N55SF-DH71 Review

I didn't know anything about the touted sound top quality of this laptop when I bought it, but wow, I've come to appreciate it! I am no audiophile, but I can say that this can be by far the most effective sound I've heard out of any laptop. There's a massive 'speaker bar' at the top rated, and an optional little subwoofer that does function, although the cable is too brief for my liking, like an individual else pointed out.

The subwoofer is nice and all. I knew I wouldn't use it considerably, however it was certainly the very best laptop speaker set up I heard when I did use it...which is till the subwoofer port stopped working proper. Maybe some thing got in there, I don't know..I'll must look. But last I tried, my sub connection would not make make contact with proper. That was a bit of a bummer. Though it really is not sufficient to warrant finding it shipped off to become fixed.

Build good quality is plasticky on the bottom. I was coming from a 17 inch HP monster that was less costly than this initially. It is still working and solid..but that thing felt a lot more durable than this does. The good quality was just more tight. For the price tag and style in the laptop, I would have preferred a harder plastic and more a metallic really feel. But, the tradeoff is this thing is fairly light for a non-ultra slim laptop. I don't truly want to drop it though..but then once again..what laptop DO you wish to drop.

I would recommend this ASUS N55SF-DH71 laptop to anybody who is considering it, hands down.
