In your business its vital that you have the right tools ! This sounds so elementary but its amazing how many people do not. Here's the other thing, you don't need a whole bunch of tools. I used to think that I needed all the right office stuff, pretty little tacks and paper clips. You only need a few essentials for your business.

* A phone

* A computer

* Pens and paper

* Calendar

* A tool to market you and your business

THAT'S IT !

So keep it simple ! Don't get lost or distracted by making the perfect office space, it doesn't matter !

This sounds so simple but it is over looked much of the time.

A lot of times we get so excited once we start a home based business.
That we tend to try and skip steps here and there. It doesn't work ! You
can't skip from step 1 to step 3 or 4.

Usually the things that get skipped over are the things that can help us
the most. Like our training calls or personal development. Or it could
be something like becoming knowledgeable on your products.

If you continue to do this in your business you'll land right on your rear
end ! You can do this for a little while and get by. Eventually, it does
catch up to you.

Believe me, its MUCH easier to take the little extra time and do it the
right way. Than having to back track and do it again !

It's extremely easy to get involved in a business and then kind of get "lost" in it.

We tend to get caught up with buying things for our office, or materials we need for our business. If you never set exactly what you're going to do EVERYDAY, you'll fail.

I've been there, start a new business and have no direction, no plan, and am just flailing around making noise !

It's quite simple, just get a planner. Or print a Mon. - Fri. sheet from windows. Then set your time for each activity that needs to be done daily. Make sure to put in family time or any obligations.

Doing this simple step will impact your time freedom ! You then control your time rather than it controling you.

When were cooking we add onions, garlic, herbs, and spices for flavor.

Imagine if you didn't use any of these ! How bland would that be.

A lot of people don't realize they leave out the "spices" in their business.

For one, the "main course" of our business is us. The main course ties
everything else together. If its bland, it doesn't matter how great the
appetizer was or the dessert may be !

The spices must compliment the meat.

I used to ignore the main course (me) and only focus on the business.
That's why I failed at the businesses I was involved with !

So we have to make sure there is the right combination of flavors
throughout the whole meal.

So if you want to be successful at your business it has to start with
you. What do I mean by that, you must become the person that people
are attracted to. I don't mean physically here.

I've found a tool and resource that has literally CHANGED EVERYTHING !
I'm NOT about hype at all ! I've learned how to brand myself rather than
promoting my business. Through doing that people are emailing and
calling me !

By the way, promoting your business rather than you is like serving the
meat with no spices, onions, or garlic. It's flavorless and nobody wants
it !

Never again do I have to bug my friends and family, purchase a bunch of
inventory, and spend a ton on advertising !

I've become the Hunted rather than the Hunter !
