Make Your Own Oatmeal Salt Bath Soak

It's all natural!

Ingredients for Oatmeal Salt Bath SoakThis bath soak is soothing and all natural and so easy to make.

You'll need:

1 cup ground oats (use the blender to grind them super fine)
1 cup salt (epsom salt, kosher salt, sea salt all work)
1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil (optional, use it if you have it; I buy small bottles at the dollar store)
1 teaspoon essential oil (peppermint or whatever scent you like)

Mix all the ingredients of the oatmeal salt bath soak thoroughly in a bowl. Store in a glass jar. Add a few tablespoons to a hot bath for a relaxing soak.

Cheap Gift Alert!

This makes a great gift too. Save small glass jars, remove the labels, and clean them. Store them with the lids off till you want to use them so any odors can dissipate. Pour the bath soak in a jar and tie a ribbon around the top. Add a decorative spoon or an old silver spoon too, if you want, to scoop out just the right amount.

At Home Facial

This is a great way to refresh your skin and save money.
Save Money -- Do an at Home Facial - Associated Content from Yahoo! - associatedcontent.com
When money's tight, do an at home facial to get the benefits of a facial for much less money. If you've ever had a professional facial, you know how good it feels. The pampering is as wonderful as the results--softer, more glowing skin. Professionals recommended having a facial every six weeks.

At Home Salon Tips from YOU!

SPhilbrick offers this advice:

I do have a natural beauty tip to share. :-) Coconut oil. Organic virgin coconut oil is amazing. It is expensive but lasts a long time. It is well noted for it's health benefits when taken internally, but its a fantastic moisturizer and massage lubricant. Yes, a lens on the topic is forthcoming ! :-)

Argan oil - works wonders on lines, dry skin and even hair - now being added to all kinds of products, and also benefits the women's co-operatives who produce it in Morocco!

I'm interested in that oatmeal salt bath. I learned to appreciated the goodness of using oats to bath with when it turned out to be the only thing that helped my daughters skin when she was a baby.
