At Home Teeth Whitening | At Home Teeth Whitening Methods

At home teeth whitening is usually the preferred method of whitening teeth rather than getting it done by a dentist. This is usually due to the fact that no one (especially me :-) wants to spend $500-$1000 on a single visit!

I have two at home teeth whitening methods for you below. One can be done for the price of about 89 cents while the other one can be done for about $6.95.

Enjoy! :-)

At Home Teeth Whitening Methods

The first method is only for those who are REALLY strapped for cash. I have to warn you, it is NOT very healthy for your teeth! If you have a little more to spend on your teeth whitening ($6.95) just skip to the second method!

At Home Teeth Whitening Method #1

This At Home Teeth Whitening Method Should Cost You About 89 cents

What you need to do is pick up a bottle of hydrogen peroxide (89 cents at most drug stores). What you do is pour some of it onto your tooth brush and brush your teeth with it. After thoroughly brushing your teeth, rinse out your mouth with some mouthwash.

You will see results after about two weeks.

NOTE: Do not swallow the peroxide!

The Good: Hello! It only costs 89 cents!

The Bad: Some people are saying that this peroxide actually wears away your tooth enamel a little bit because it is not made specifically for teeth whitening. This is obviously not the best thing (which is why I stopped after a week)

The Ugly: Nothing ugly here! (sorry, I just really wanted to get that whole "The good, the bad, and the ugly" thing going :-)

This at home teeth whitening method may be cheapest, but it is not my first choice.
Here is how to whiten your teeth using this method. I must warn you, this lady is a little weird (especially with her obsession with the shirt she's wearing :-)

At Home Teeth Whitening Method #2

This At Home Teeth Whitening Method Will Cost You About $6.95

This is my favorite whitening method. It really only cost me $6.95 to get a professional look!

I use a product called Teeth Whiten Tips. They offer you a free trial that comes with 3 packages of the six-day system.

My teeth were as white as can be after one and a half packages! So what I've done is put the leftover one-and-a-half packages to the side for the future.

Teeth Whiten Tips' free trial is what I recommend to you. Remember though, you DO need to pay the $6.95 shipping fee (much better than wearing away your tooth enamel though - at least in my opinion :-)

NOTE: After you receive your free trial in the mail, call the number and cancel the auto-ship. What they do is automatically ship you another package the next month and charge your credit card. All I did was wait until I got the 3 free packages and canceled my order. I'm the penny pinching queen!

Step One

The first thing you do is snap the end of the teeth whitening tip. This releases the liquid formula inside.

Step Two

At Home Teeth Whitening Method #2: Teeth Whiten Tips

The second step is dip the tips in the teeth whitening powder and then rub it on your teeth! You don't need to worry about getting any on your lip or tongue. They actually gave it a mint flavor to take out the gross factor.

Final Words

I am sure that I am not the ONLY person looking to save some money out there. If you want to get a professional look without the professional cost, the free trial of Teeth Whiten Tips is the way to go!

Extra Tip: if you want to see faster results (get your teeth whiter faster while using less of the packages) just cut down on the tea and coffee.
