At Least My Lensography Is Organized

Ranked #3,177 in Squidoo Community, #256,218 overall

All of my Squidoo work, all in one place

Anyone who's seen my house - or my desk - or my car - or my computer desktop - or anything, really, is going to laugh at the idea of my having all of anything neatly arranged. But here, in this spot, I offer all of my Squidoo lenses, neatly listed and described for your delectation, all in one place.

As the list grows I will even arrange it by category; should I ever produce two lenses that could be grouped together in a single category.

Taking the Polar Bear Plunge
I did it and so can you: taking the Polar Bear Plunge (into icy cold water in the middle of winter) to help raise funds for Special Olympics.

“The funny thing is, I work organizing other people's stuff. But this is as organized as I get.”

What's Next?

Idea Squid graphic by GreekGeekAs I write this, I have 44 in-progress lenses, not counting this one. More Roller Derby and other sport history lenses are at the top of my To-Do list, but I'm easily distracted. Squidoo has sent me on a fashion and entertainment quest - expect something new in that line soon. My "City of New Orleans" lens was a quest lens, and I had a great time learning about different types of music, so now I'm a dedicated quest fan. I'm also taking the Rocket Squids program, so I have homework there. AND I really want to do a series of lenses debating Serious Grammatical Issues, but I'm not sure how I want to proceed with that one. There are always more lens ideas than time.....

What I'm Reading

Maybe this will lead to a lens?

It's Not About You: A Little Story About What Matters Most in Business

I never expected to enjoy a business/marketing book, but my experience with this book was the same as with Harry Potter - I picked it up for a quick glance and realized I'd read a quarter of the book before I knew it. It's described as a "parable" and that word works - a neat little story with a significant moral message, but one that also promises business success. When you're trying to persuade someone; it's a lot easier if you focus on them, not you. I just plain liked reading this, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, in any field.

Thanks so much for visiting and featuring my Make a Bandana for Dogs lens. People who love animals will always be loved by those same animals. Isn't it great? :) And, I'm impressed that you've made a lensography. I haven't managed to put one together yet.
