How Can I Tell My/Our Story?
Also, Does the Modified Atkins Diet for Seizures Work for Adults?
Why not take 15 or 20 minutes and share your story? It is extremely easy to set up a "lens" just like this one. Simply click on the box that says "make a lens" and follow the steps. Its okay if its not perfect. You can add to it whenever you want. If you can type - you can put together a lens.
After you have a lens in place, join our group. We will all be linked together and your story can inspire hundreds more! (you may even earn a little income from the site).
PS - Yes this diet works for adults too. I've gotten to know several, and hope their stories will soon be availble via lens.
Work From Home?
In both my eBook and my Atkins for Seizures website I mention the privilege my wife and I have of working from home. The tax benefits, the time freedom, and the time spent together are truely fantastic. Many have asked (at my invitation) if I could point them toward a similar situation. I've decided to use Squidoo to share everything we do. So as not to clutter up the focus of this lens - I am creating a new lens for each business we run. These lenses detail what is working for us.

Hello Roshnee, sorry for the long wait. Hope things are getting better for your daughter. Being able to "stomach" low carb takes a little adjusting. Especially if her diet has been much different from what she is eating now. What do you feed her on this wonderful ketogenic diet by the way? Perhaps you might want to reduce her fat intake a little and as she makes the adjustments begin to increase the amount. What kind of fats are you feeding her? My recommendations are coconut oil, butter, olive oil, avocado oils. So she doesn't have to have a lot of meat fats, yet. You want her to enjoy the diet so I would take my time adding those fats. They're wonderful and probably the most important nutrient in any diet. But we've been taught to avoid these so it is something quite new for the body. I will be e mailing you soon.
Thanks Dear,
Mary

I am 27 and was diagnosed as a depressive when I was 16. At the time my other mood states were pretty much put down to being a teenager but they progressively became worse over the years to a point where I didn't feel I had any balance or control and needed help badly. Lamictal 100 mg has made such a huge difference to me. I haven't had any side-effects and my creativity is still there. Life has become more fun and easy for me and the little things that used to hugely impact on my moods are hardly a blip on the radar now.
