Rubber Washers
We work with elastomer suppliers to manufacture washers of the highest quality rubber materials. Most rubber grades are available as thin as .016" thk. to .250" thk. and come in a measure of hardness (durometer) as soft as 30 duro. and as hard as 90 duro. We provide materials in continuous rolls or cut-to-size for your specific applications. We use a variety of tools to die cut parts from cork, foam, adhesive, rubber, felt, sponge, cellulose fibers, vegetable fibers, plastics, paper, and more. Through the use of our high-speed rotary die cutting presses we can produce extended runs of finished product while lowering production costs and meeting delivery requirements. With a variety of presses, we can run specialized orders as well as longer runs.

Die Cutting Methods
Steel rule dies are inexpensive tools and are used to cut a large percentage of the custom die cut parts that are produced at Atlantic Gasket Corporation. Our steel rule dies can be made from a variety of rule styles and bevel configurations. Custom die-cut parts may be designed to have internal round holes, oval slots, or square and rectangular cutouts. With so many choices in rule and punch styles, it is routine that our design team learn as much as possible about your application and process before designing the optimum die for your part.

Many materials can be precision cut with computer-controlled lasers. Intricate patterns can be cut and parts nested to achieve maximum material yield. For prototyping and lower volume production runs, lasers are very effective, eliminating the need to make dies or tooling to cut the parts.

Like laser cutting, waterjets are another alternative to die cutting. Utilizing water pressurized up to 60,000 psi and forced through nozzles with small orifices, high velocity is achieved and almost any material can be cut precisely. Introducing abrasive elements to the water in the nozzle permits cutting of extremely hard materials such as steel, glass, stone, composites, and more.

Plastic Die Cutting
At Atlantic Gasket Corporation, we use precision die cutting equipment to cut all thin film plastics from .001" thk. up to .062" thk. and utilize water jet and laser capabilities to cut most plastics up to 1" thk. Our most popular plastic materials are available from stock and include Polycarbonate (Lexan®), Polyester films (Mylar®), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Acetal, Teflon, and Polyethylene Terephthalate-glycol (PETG).

Atlantic Gasket Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial single-sided and double-sided foam and sponge tape of different strengths. Foam and sponge tapes can be used for countless OEM tasks including mounting, fastening, sealing, joining, splicing, cushioning and insulation. Application is easy; simply remove the release liner and press tape in place.

Single-Sided Foam Tape
Single-sided foam tape and sponge tape manufacturer, Atlantic Gasket Corporation, produces adhesive tapes starting at 1/32" thk. up to 1" thk. With our precision slitting equipment we are capable of slitting rolls as narrow as 1/8" wide and any roll width up to and including 54" wide. For applications that require a custom cut length that is 36" or less, we utilize high speed die cutting equipment for a perfect fit every time. And, depending on the roll width and thickness, our single-sided foam tapes can be supplied on 3" dia. cores and rolls up to 200 feet in length.

Double-Sided Foam Tape
Atlantic Gasket Corporation manufactures double-sided foam tapes and sponge tapes starting at 1/32" thk. up to 1" thk. By investing in precision slitting equipment, we are able to slit rolls as narrow as 1/8" wide and any roll width up to and including 54" wide. Our double-sided foam tapes are supplied on 3" dia. cores and, depending on the roll width and thickness, we can supply rolls up to 200 feet in length. Additionally, different adhesives can be applied to each side of the carrier material.

Manufactured "kiss-cut" on a matrix pad or roll for easy removal and application, our solid urethane cabinet bumpers are available in four popular shapes including cylindrical, hemisphere, tapered square, and quiet top and our urethane foam bumpers are supplied in hexagonal and round shapes.

Solid Urethane Bumpers
At Atlantic Gasket Corporation, we manufacture solid urethane bumpers that are specially designed for the cabinetry industry, but are also used in many other applications. Our cabinet bumpers offer maximum protection against nicks, scratches, scuffs, slippage, vibration, or noise transmission and are supplied "kiss-cut" on a matrix pad for easy removal and application. Our solid urethane cabinet bumpers perform well in applications where temperatures can range from 40°F (5°C) to 125°F (52°C).

Urethane Foam Bumpers
