Skin Care does not have to be a mystery. It can be quite simple actually. Kick the chemicals! I have passionately researched natural skin care for over 8 years and here will share many tips, recipes, and pampering ideas you can use right at home.

Go Green! with Herbs

Quick tips on uses of herbs for skin care

How many jars of herbs do you have in your kitchen cabinet? Too many to count?

Those herbs have many uses OUTSIDE of the kitchen too!

Rosemary - infuse in Olive Oil for a wonderful hot oil treatment for hair.

Peppermint - put in tea bags, slightly dampen, apply to tired puffy eyes for refreshment

Lemon Peel - Lemon peel acts as an astringent for the skin and hair. Use lemon peel powder in facials for acne prone skin.

Parsely - Parsley is soothing, cleansing and detoxifying when added to baths and skin care products. It helps open up and cleanse the pores. Add parsley powder to bath teas, milk baths, bath salts and detoxifying body wraps.

Just a few examples. Go green, and enjoy the natural side of skin care!
