You control your life - Nobody else does!!!

Too many people don't realize that. They would rather blame others and wallow in self-pity.

Though we cannot control all situations that happen to us, much of what happens to us is because of our own attitudes and perceptions.

And it is who you reacts to the things that happen to you based on the attitudes you have.

Having a positive attitude is absolutely essential to handling events in your life, being happy and living longer.

Attitude is Everything ....

well that might not be exactly right but it is almost everything.

A positive attitude gives you energy to deal with anything negative that comes your way. However, negative attitudes erode whatever energy you might have had and when you do encounter things that stress you and cause you unhappiness, you just "slide down" that much more.

When you slide down far enough, you encounter Depression and that can be very debilitating and also, very hard to escape from. Yes, escape is possible and though there is professional help out there, the main cure for depression has to come from within oneself. You need to take a hard look at yourself and determine what you want from life and how you would go about to get it. This inward is llnk is called Introspection and if you have never practiced it, you will never be happy nor at peace with yourself.
