Raising Your Level Of Happiness By Elizabeth Richardson
"Change your thoughts and you change your world." - Norman Vincent PealeI'm told that in the world of energy, nothing is ever destroyed. That energy can't be destroyed, it simply changes form. So that means everything that we WANT already exists right now. It is simply in an energetic form that we may not be aware of yet!
For example, if what I want is to create MORE HAPPINESS in my life, then that degree of happiness I am seeking supposedly already exists somewhere, on a different level of awareness, so to speak.
I've heard the analogy of an elevator used before and for the purpose of illustration, I'll use it again. Let's say I am on floor three. The 'level of happiness' that I desire is on floor four. It's already up there. I simply have to get in the elevator, push the button of DESIRE, THOUGHT, EMOTION AND BELIEF, and I will raise my level of awareness to where I am now - on level four.
Sometimes in my life when I feel flat and somewhat depressed, it's as if I've forgotten that I've already been on level three. I've gotten stuck into thinking I've gone back to the ground floor, can't even find the elevator door and have to make an enormous effort to climb up the emergency stairs to regain my place.
Hmm, maybe not.
If I really imagine myself to have gone back to the ground floor, lost the elevator door and need to climb the stairs to get back up to where I want to be, I can view it as a great way to get fit and healthy - an ideal opportunity to STRENGTHEN my happiness muscles.
That's one way to do it.
But I'd prefer to think that I'd simple forgotten that I was in the elevator already. I just need to regain my FOCUS, remind myself of what it is that I really want and push the button of desire, thought, emotion and belief, at the same time realizing that I'M ALREADY HERE.
I have raised my level of awareness to where I am now, on level four. I open the door. Poof! There's my HAPPINESS. It already exists. So getting what I want is simply raising my self to that next level of experience and that is, getting off on level four where my HAPPY feelings are. Right here, right now.

Self confidence is a major part of success. Self confidence will make people feel comfortable to trust and do business with you if you exude self confidence. Without it though, you will have a hard time convincing people that you can be trusted and will do what you tell them you will do. It's not that you won't but you have to remember that everything in life is about perception. You have to give people the perception that you are on the ball. Without self confidence it is very hard to do that. Here are 3 keys to increasing your self confidence even if it is just perceived that way from other people.1. Look people in the eye.
If you aren't able to look people in the eye, it makes it look like you have something to hide. Force yourself to look people in the way when you are talking with them. This one thing can dramatically improve people's perception of your self confidence.
2. Be clear when you talk.
If you talk real soft, mumble, or stutter when you are nervous, you are telling people that they can walk all over you. Of course you don't have to shout but talking with a good firm voice that lets people know that you know what you talking about will make them believe what you are saying. Practice talking to yourself in your mirror at home. Watch the way you talk and improve the things that you think are signs that say you lack self confidence.
3. Give off confident body posture.
When you are talking to people, make sure that you are standing up straight and giving off body posture that lets people know that you are confident in yourself. Some of the body posture that says you aren't confident is slouching, hanging your head, fidgeting, and looking everywhere else but at the person you are talking too.

Highly successful people exhibit an impeccable attitude of positive behavior and there is nothing these people can't achieve in their life. There is absolutely nothing they cannot aspire to be and there is simply nothing they cannot possess! These people are the masters of positive attitude, a self realized energy that propels them towards the path of greatness. You can do whatever you want if you have the power of positive attitude. How you steer your life, depends on how you adjust your attitude; a positive attitude will help you develop a successful career, while a negative attitude will create more problems in your personal life.Attitude is a state of your mind; it also tests your patience and stress. If you handle your stress with optimism and hope, you'll come out of the clutches of despair and hopelessness. A positive attitude will also ensure that you stay optimistic in whatever do you do and perform in your life. Optimists are effective in countering any form of stress or problem to emerge as ultimate winners, while a pessimist is likely to deny the existence of problem and run away from the source of problem as well. An optimist invariably becomes successful in achieving his cherished goals, while a pessimist can never hope to become successful, because of his negative attitude.
More often the trait of positive attitude is developed from the time we are adolescent A person shows a high degree of positive attitude, if he/she grows in an environment, that is highly positive and immensely hopeful. People with a positive attitude always look at things very positively and respond to any tricky situation with positive answers like, Yes, I can do it, It is achievable, It is perfectly possible and I am capable. While negatively inclined people always complain about people and situations and are always pessimistic in what ever they think and do.
If you have been showing an extreme negative attitude in your life and always expecting failure and tragedies, it is now the right time to alter the way you think and behave. It is also a correct time to get rid of those negative thoughts and behavior and achieve cherished goals for a happy life. Here are some of the suggested ways to get rid of those bad, negative feelings and develop right attitude and positive mindset, in their place:
1. When you see the signs of a negative attitude or feelings creeping in your mind, say STOP; instead start visualizing those vividly beautiful pictures of success and contentment.
2. Experts suggest a novel way of stopping negative thoughts from your mind. Though this method is a bit difficult to master, you can try them at your own leisure. Thought stopping process involves two basic stages: a driving mechanism to shoo away all those negative feelings and perceptions and an infiltration mechanism whereby your negative mind is infiltrated with positive thoughts and feelings.
3. Self talk and positive affirmations are known scientific mind principles which can help you develop positive mindset. Develop your own self talk and affirmation statement and start talking to yourself on a regular basis.
4. Another unusual method is to create sticky notes with positive statements like, I can do it, I am capable, Success is mine and I have a purpose, and to stick them up on your car dashboard, study table, personal diary, study room cupboard and dining places, where you can see the message everyday and night.
5. Get acquainted with highly successful people with tangible achievements. Right association and acquaintance will make things easy for you to develop positive attitude.
6. Start reading all those positive self help books and magazine. Attend to self help workshops and seminars.
Positive thoughts can only be instilled by you and not by anyone else. It is an internal mechanism and thus it needs your effort and dedication. It may take considerably long time, but it is priceless when you achieve it.

Life is this thing that we all live, to one degree or another. Many people however don't realize that life is a game of war, and we must all play for blood. Now I know this is a strong statement, and it is meant to be. Maybe not in the sense that you think though. What I am saying is simple. No one gets out of life alive, so we must play the game with all that we have as though life were ultimately at stake, because it is.
We can't take life to seriously as we go along, after all, it's only temporary. However, we must remember that this life is all we have, and we have to give it all we have. We have to play for blood, and that blood is our own peace of mind and happiness. So what would bring happiness to you and your life in the end? What would allow you to sleep every night with a sense of accomplishment and movement. You must be willing to play the game with everything you have, and give it all you got, because in the end, it is all you have.
Life is a game of war, and you must play for blood. Many people may take this statement as though I mean that you must do whatever it takes regardless of who gets hurt along the way, just as in war. This isn't what I mean, however, what I do mean is that you must play the game of life as though your life were on the line. Ultimately it is on the line. Your well being, your state of mind, your emotional well being, your psychological well being. All of these are on the line. I see so many people who walk around their lives dead inside. There is no greater sadness to me than people who have given up on not only their dreams and happiness, but themselves. People who make excuses as to why it's to late, or their to old, or they would if they could but they can't because.... Life is short enough as it is, there is no need to make it shorter and wait for your turn to be put into the ground. Regardless of whether it be tomorrow or fifty years from now, you still have right now to begin moving toward your own happiness and well being in all areas of your life.
So what will you do now? Will you think about these things and decide to start taking action toward your goals and dreams, or will you allow yourself to shrivel up inside like so many people do?
