Do You Want to Attract Endless Leads for Your Network Marketing Business?
There's something very important that you need to know.
There are many ways to generate leads for your network marketing business.
But this lens isn't about generating leads. It's about attracting leads.
You attract leads based on who you are as a person.
Attracting and generating actually work together. If you're not the type of person that attracts others, all the generating you do won't matter much. Alternatively, you can't just sit back and hope that people will be attracted to you without doing the necessary work to generate leads.
There's a lot of information out there about generating leads and not as much about the foundational aspect of attracting them.
So, I've created an entire system about it!
Here are the basics . . .
The Main Point
This lens is about attracting endless leads by becoming the best you that you can be.

What Do You Think?
Your Starting Point
Knowing Yourself
Why does knowing yourself have anything to do with being successful at attracting endless leads?Well, start with thinking about success in general.
Think about a map in a mall.
Without that big, red "you are here" arrow, it'd be tough to determine where you're going and how you're going to get there.
When you see one of those maps, that big, red arrow is the first thing you look for. You'd be lost without it. You\d have to stumble around trying to get to where you want to go and hope you find it.
It's the same with life.
Knowing who you are is your "you are here" arrow. It's your starting place. It gives you your bearings. It lets you get where you want to go more effectively.
So it's foundational for your success.
And when you're solid in who you are - when you have personal power - you attract others to you because you:
- live with authenticity
- know you're worthy
- express a fit in your life
- follow your path
- respect yourself
- see others with compassion
- live with empowerment & vitality
People are attracted to that.
But how do you begin to discover who you are?
There are some major elements that help to define you as a human. You can learn a lot about who you are by investigating each of these areas:
- values
- passions
- personality
- talents & abilities
- skills
- gifts
- learning style

The Most Important Quality for Success in Network Marketing
Your Destination
Your Vision & Dreams
When you know where you are on your map, you can more easily determine where you're going and people are attracted to others who know what they want . . . so you can attract endless leads. As Stephen Covey says, "Begin with the end in mind."
So, where are you going? What do you want?
Think of everything you want to be, do and have in your life and business.
Think about what success is to you personally and what success is to you in your business.
Why are you involved in network marketing?
Is your dream to:
- work from home so you can be with your kids?
- make a difference in the world?
- give money to chosen causes?
- build your dream house?
- travel the world?
- devote time to you relationships?
- pursue education?
- achieve financial freedom?
- create residual income?
- create massive wealth?
Let yourself dream as if there were no obstacles.
Consider all the areas of your life:
- career/business/job
- finances
- relationships
- your surroundings
- giving
- physical health
- free time
- personal growth
- spirituality
- any other area that's relevant to you
And then record it.
Most people write it down as a vision statement. That works just fine. But, you can also get creative and really tap into your senses and emotions. Create a video. Record an audio. Make a dream board.
And watch top network marketing trainer, Randy Gage, talk about living your dream with network marketing.
Create Your Vision for Success
What Do You Want?

Get clear about where you're going. Build your map for life!
Your Route
Your Purpose or Mission
Now that you know where you're starting from (who you are) and where you're going (your vision), you can plan the route that will get you to your destination. When you plan your route in a mall, or for a trip, you plan the route that's best for your trip. Maybe it's the quickest route or the most scenic or the route that includes the place you want to see.
Regardless, it's the one that's best suited for your particular situation.
For your map for life, your best route if based on your purpose or mission.
Why?
Because that's who you're to be in life and what you're to do in life.
It's your path.
People hold different beliefs about purpose and mission. No matter what you believe, the point is that you need to discover it in order to live your fullest life and achieve success.
As you live it, you attract others to you.

Your Path to Success
Are Your Purpose & Mission the Same, or Different?
People disagree on purpose and mission. Some say that they are just different words for the same thing. Others see clear differences. For example, some say that purpose has to do with who you are and mission has to do with what you do.
What do you think?
Are purpose & mission the same or different?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand by
Keasley says:
Purpose is the reason behind your mission. Why do you want to accomplish this particular goal (mission)? For example my purpose or reason for setting up a website is to earn some money online. Earning money online is the goal or end result that I hope to accomplish. Therefore, purpose is tied to the reason while mission is tied to the goal. Is that confusing?

Inspiration to Overcome Your Roadblocks
Break Your Journey Into Sections
Set Goals

As you move toward your vision, it's easier if you break your journey into sections. With your map for life, these sections are goals.
Goals get you to your destination in steps that are smaller and easier to achieve than one huge, long journey.
But unless your goals are based on who you are, where you're going and how you're going to get there, they won't be as effective as they could be.
And, unless you have strategies for overcoming roadblocks, your goals won't be as effective as they could be.
Why?
Because goals need to:
- fit with who you are
- be aligned with where you're going
- be in accordance with your purpose or mission
This way, your goals will be full of passion.
They'll match up with your values.
They'll express who you are.
And you'll be more likely to reach them.
As well, it's less likely that you'll be sidetracked by fear, self-doubt and negative thinking.
Did you know that most people never reach their goals?
They may set them.
And they may work towards them for a while.
But they likely will move further and further away from pursuing them until they are forgotten.
Often this happens because their goals don't flow out of who they are. They aren't related to where they really want to go. They probably have nothing to do with their mission in life. So, they're out of alignment with the person and the person is easily taken off course.
Another reason why a lot of people don't reach their goals is because they don't write them down, or write them effectively.
Goals are most effective when they're "SMART:"
- S - make your goals specific
- M - make your goals measurable
- A - make your goals achievable
- R - make your goals realistic, but with some risk
- T - set a time frame for achieving your goals
And attract others who want to have the success you have!

Overcoming Roadblocks
Improve Your Thinking & Learn Success Strategies
Everyone encounters roadblocks. It's part of life. What matters is how you respond to them.
This is important so that you keep moving forward to your destination.
The greatest roadblocks you can experience are the ones in your mind.
If you allow your mind to focus on roadblocks like fear, self-doubt, or negative thinking, those things become the theme of your life. Your mind and the atmosphere around you are filled with it. You start to see it everywhere. Your speech expresses it (e.g. complaining). Your actions are hindered.
It's like dumping garbage into your mind and your life. When you do, it festers and rots.
But if you allow your mind to focus on empowering, positive things, those things become the tone of your life. Your mind and the atmosphere around you are filled with that instead. You see good things everywhere - in yourself, in others, in your environment. Your speech might be encouraging and reflective of gratitude and opportunity. Your actions are propelled forward by this mindset. You respond to setbacks, rather than react to them, and you learn and keep moving forward.
I used the phrase "if you allow" in the last two paragraphs. You really do choose what you think about.
No matter what your situation is, you choose how you respond. You choose your perspective, your thoughts.
Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor, said, "What affects us is not what happens to us but how we perceive what happens to us." He could say this even though he endured the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps. He chose to respond in a loving, giving way to his fellow inmates and to the perpetrators of the horror. Afterwards, he was motivated by his experience to create a form of psychotherapy called "Logotherapy" to help others in their search for meaning in life. How he chose to think and respond allowed him to triumph. His story is an example for everyone.
How does this relate to attracting others? Think about the kinds of people you enjoy spending time with . . . the kinds of people you aspire to be like. Are they negative and full of fear, doubt and complaining? Or are they positive and full of life and energy?

Very interesting lens, takes me back to my days in network marketing especially with Herbalife. Gosh, that was back in the 80's. Their familiar chant was, 'Talk to some people and you'll make some money. Talk to lots of people and you'll make lots of money.' I still think this rings true.
