Now think of the last time you in fact bought something because of the sales person right approach. What did they start out with, a smile and small talk, or did they ask if they could assist you? Did they seem to understand a lot about the merchandise they were selling? Did they sound polite or understanding, even when you said you were not interested, and just looking?
