#1 eBay

TopTenREVIEWS Gold Award Winner

We found eBay to be the largest, most well-known, organized and comprehensive online auction service available. Often, it is the first place people go when shopping for auction products. There wasn't anything we couldn't find on eBay. Although eBay may be the highest priced auction we reviewed, we also found they have the highest exposure and membership. With eBay, you're getting more bang for your buck. eBay is THE name in online auctions, and for good reason. eBay has the most complete lineup of features for buyers and sellers alike.

#2 eBid

TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award

If you're looking for a solid eBay alternative, eBid is a great option. Cheaper seller fees and a relatively large user base make eBid a great choice for online auctioning. With a broad list of features and an easy to use interface, eBid is definitely an online auction solution worth looking into.

#3 OnlineAuction

TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award

OnlineAuction is a great online auction service, combining an easy interface with a healthy user base and strong tools for buyers as well as sellers. Auctions on OnlineAuction are simple, straightforward, and easy. If you're a seller who needs an eBay alternative with no selling fees (other than membership), OnlineAuction is a great option. For another eBay alternative, take a look at our #2 reviewed online auction site, eBid.

#4 OZtion

OZtion offers a unique, streamlined auction experience. The simple site layout and easy navigation make OZtion a great option for your online auctions. OZtion is primarily an Australian auction venue, but has quite a bit of international traffic and potential. We'd like to see some other auction sites take advice from the OZtion team "down under."

For the best online auction site, see our review of eBay. Or if you're looking for an eBay alternative, see our reviews of eBid and OnlineAuction.

#5 Overstock

Overstock.com is a good online auction venue and a decent alternative to eBay. It includes many of the same features and provides you with the safety of using a well-known company to host or buy at online auction.

For the best online auction site, see our review of eBay. Or if you're looking for an eBay alternative, see our reviews of eBid and Online Auction.

#6 Webidz

WeBidz includes many useful features with your membership, including the Auction Managing software. The search and category features are its biggest asset, but WeBidz is missing some additional communication features and has a significantly smaller community.

For the biggest online auction community, check out eBay. Or if you're looking for an eBay alternative, see our reviews of eBid and OnlineAuction.

#7 CQout

CQout is an okay online auction site, offering several features and a healthy user base. Unfortunately, the user base is pretty small compared to other top reviewed online auction sites , and CQout lacks some additional features and suffers in usability.

For easier to use online auction services, read our reviews of eBay., eBid and OnlineAuction.

#8 uBid

uBid is a reliable auction site for buyers looking to purchase excess inventory, especially consumer electronics. However, selling is not available to the common user, and so uBid isn't a great place for bargain hunters or at-home sellers. Also, uBid primarily utilizes Dutch auctions, which is great for people looking for multiple items, but can potentially relegate a bidder who just wants one item.

For the best online auction site, see our review of eBay. Or if you're looking for an eBay alternative, see our reviews of eBid and OnlineAuction.

#9 ePier

ePier has a decent user base and some nice features, but lacks some advanced features and doesn't offer nearly as much usability as other online auction sites. ePier has received an unsatisfactory rating from the Better Business Bureau due to a pattern of unanswered complaints concerning billing and collection, warranty, and refund or exchange issues. We suggest you look at our higher reviewed online auction services to find a better place to buy and sell your items. For the best online auction site, see our review of eBay. Or if you're looking for an eBay alternative, see our reviews of eBid and OnlineAuction.

#10 ShopGoodwill

ShopGoodwill is a nice auction site and a pretty good place for collectors and people looking for unique antiques. But the userbase and number of auctions is limited, and the site lacks several advanced features and some functionality. ShopGoodwill is a decent auction site; it just isn't complete.

For a more complete online auction experience check out eBay, eBid or OnlineAuction.

Nice lens and great information very useful for people looking at on line auction sites I gave you 5 stars
I specially like the review about Oztion as I have my own online vShop with them selling my wife's hand crafted jewellery. I also have a few lens about Oztion including an unofficial link directory that Oztion members can leave a link to there own listing and vShops
