Computers in Australia are booming. The industry is huge, businesses are constantly in need, and consumers are through the roof. The economy has had its effect as it has in every industry, but the computer industry in Australia is booming. pcs and desktops in particular on on the rise.

One of my favorite things about desktops vs laptops is that you can build your own if you choose. You can "build" your desktop computer through a company like Dell, or you can go out on your own and find all the parts for the best price, get it shipped to your home and put it all together like a puzzle. Its totally up to you.

Desktop pcs normally have a lot more power than laptops. Of course you can get the super intense gaming laptops that carry a ton of memory and a super quick processor, but if its available in a laptop, its even better in a desktop.

Then there is the discussion and argument of Mac or PC. Well, I won't advocate either here, but lets just say there are benefits to both. One major point that I will say is that PCs are more have a more robust platform when it comes to consumer software. Some software you may want or need is only available on a pc, so keep that in mind.
