Audio Guided Meditation For The Non Monk - You Deserve Peace Of Mind Too
Audio guided meditation is one modern method for learning meditation that's meant to help those of us with less than quiet minds master an age old discipline.
Even with this aid, unless you happen to be a monk, finding time to test the myriad of meditation techniques available today can be so daunting it might dissuade you from even trying to find a practice that works for you.
I'd like to spotlight my two favorite meditation resources. They're both simple, clear, and effective methods. Each has its individual strengths.
And I'll let you in on a secret...my daily routine actually combines the two practices into a personally powerful meditation ritual that leaves me feeling centered, peaceful, and resourceful.
When I'm done meditating every morning -even if I've been interrupted by both the cat AND the dog, it's like the floodgates to my creativity have been busted wide open (important for an artist, no?)...

Audio Guided Meditation with Wayne Dyer
Dr. Dyer is a well-respected author and speaker. In his book Getting in the Gap, he lays out the why and how of Japa Meditation - his own chosen method for meditating.
The book also includes a CD where Dr. Dyer leads you through the process of Japa, using his personal way of getting in the gap (that quiet space between your thoughts).

My Favorite Audio Guided Meditation Method
I Combine Dr. Dyer's Method of Japa With Holosync In My Own Meditation Practice
Holosync stimulates our brains to create new neural pathways, lowers stress, helps with focus, intuition, and creativity...all those things that flow more freely when we practice meditation, that let us live healthier, happier, more purpose-filled lives as we become more aware of our true selves and our connection to the larger field of the universal source...

- Nice lens. I have been using Holosync for my daily meditation practice for about two and a half years now. I get up at 4:30 am to do it, (don't ask).
I also just bought Wayne Dyers book, 'Stop the Excuses'. Only just started it but I think it might help me to get past some residual issues.
It's all good!
