Meeting a sexy Latino is one of the greatest motivations to learn Spanish.
But there are many reasons to learn Spanish: to get in the mood, scroll down to watch the short video I've incuded, and clap to the flamenco rhythm.
I can think of another ten reasons already:
1. Get a better job. Another language boosts your image on a job application, and Spanish is the most useful one for Americans to learn.
2. Enjoy the other channels on cable TV.
3. Order in Spanish in a true Mexican restaurant without having to ask for help.
4. Make new friends. Instead of plain "Hi" to your neighbor, try "hola!".
5. Help others who don't speak English.
6. Improve your brainpower. Concepts in the Spanish language give you new ways to think.
7. Improve your memory. Studies prove that studying a language improves memory.
8. Understand better. Spanish is heard as much as English at Miami airport, and in many other places in the US. Wouldn't it be great to understand what they're saying?
9. Improve your perspective. Psychologists tell us that in using an expression like "I am afraid" we identify too much with the feeling. It's healthier to think and say "I have fear" as in Spanish (yo tengo miedo).
10 Age more slowly. Learn Spanish to slow aging? Yes, it has been proven that by learning a new language you can reduce age-related decline in mental function.

How to learn Spanish fastest? Make a note of these 7 important hints:
1. Spanish is pronunced exactly as it's written. Discover how each letter is pronounced, as soon as possible. Each letter always sounds the same whenever your read it. You will be able to pronounce every word perfectly right from the beginning.
2. Spanish nouns have two genders, feminine or masculine. Always learn a noun with its article. Write new words down, in one color for feminine words and another color for the masculine.
3. Learn the numbers up to two thousand in bite-sized chunks, and as soon as possible. We use numbers all the time.
4. Learn the three types of Spanish regular verbs by using common examples: 'speak' (hablar), 'eat' (comer) and 'receive' (recibir). Start with the present tense. Begin with the 'I', 'we' and 'you polite' persons.
5. Learn the 20 basic verbs that we use in our own language all the time: 'be', 'have', 'come', 'go', 'say', etc: these verbs are irregular in Spanish, but so useful! Start also with the present tense, and the 'I', 'we' and 'you polite' persons.
6. When you find new vocabulary, read new words in context in sentences: you will have to look other words up in the dictionary. The more words you know, the better!
7. Start by listening to Spanish being read. It's one thing to know words separately, it's another to understand what someone tells you. The more you listen to the same text, the more sentences will get into your head.
