Audio Technica AT 4033

This thing is sturdy and built like a brickhouse. I've dropped it on concrete, let it set in a humid room(yes, I'm stupid for that) and it hasn't skipped a beat for me. If you take good care of this microphone, you'll have many years of service out of this mic.

One thing I can say for Audio Technica is that every product by them that I've had a chance to try have all been really good quality.

There are downsides to every mic and you can't have just one perfect mic to record everything with. One thing is it's not my favorite mic for most female singers. The frequency response with this mic is far better suited for a male voice.

With all being said and done, the AT 4033 is a true multi purpose mic that has a lot more pros than cons.
