This was very interesting. As much as I love birds, I really did not know any of the specific Audubon history. Thank you for this highly informative lens.

I cannot pick a favorite bird. :) Thank you for creating this Audubon lens! I love his artwork, he was one of America's first naturalists and conservationists.

What a beautiful and informative lens. My favorite bird is the Indigo Bunting. I first saw them in the mountains and thought they were beautiful. They had a way of flying in front of your car on backroads and seemed to sway back and forth in front of the car. Very unusual behavior I thought.

Excellent lens. I love this kind of art from this era. It reminds me of the Natural History Museum in London.

When I was a kid we had a book with Audubon's pictures. i just loved it. Even today, and I am a bit of an original art snob, I think an Audubon portrait fits anywhere. Great lens and thanks for reminding me of this wonderful work! *****

You know, I didn't realize that Audobon had French citizenship -- I guess I always thought of him as American. PS -- You need to create more lenses, I'm pretty sure I've visited them all. ;)

    I hereby bless this lens.

There is also a good biography of Audubon specially for children -- The Man Who Drew Birds. We will incorporate that into our nature studies.
