- Lots of great info on Planting Daylily flowers! I used to have Gold and Yellow Day lilies, but they were too big for my garden. I do have a stella d'oro day lily and it is just beautiful.

- I love daylilies - they are almost carefree and so hardy. My younger daughter "planted" some for me one fall when she was 2 by dropping them on top of the soil and tossing a bit of sandy soil over the roots. The plants actually survived and flourished the next spring. Must have been because she left the crowns uncovered. Welcome to Squidoo!
