Work Hard, Party Even Harder!!!
The Most Important Thing
The Biggest Mistake My Friend Made When Publishing His Ebook
Imagine publishing an ebook only to learn that you're making no salesmaking no sales, no traffic to your website and no profits. How depressing will that be!
A while ago my friend, just finished writing and
publishing his new ebook called "How To Be A Good
Retail Worker". He has no problems with writing an ebook.
He knew how to write, he knew how to organize his
work into a structured way. But he had one problem -
He couldn't sell it in the end! Why? Because he failed to see how big the demand was for information on Retail working work.
He didn't research before he published his finished ebook. He lost hope and didn't have any confidence anymore. He was assuming people will buy his book and he was hoping that a lot of people werelooking for information about this subject. He failed miserably!

How To Write Powerful Sales Headlines
The most important part of any sales letter is thesales headline. You can have the best testimonials,
the best income statements, and the best sales copy
known to man, but none of this will matter if visitors
aren't convinced and intrigued by your headline; and
simply click off of your sales letter, instead of
reading on to learn more.
For this reason, it is absolutely imperative that you
learn how to write powerful sales headlines if you
want to round out a powerful sales letter.
So what does a powerful sales headline include?
A powerful sales headline must include a number of
different "psychological triggers." These are words
that have been proven time and time again to stir up
emotion by triggering some widely-attached connotation
to a word or phrase. "Free," "shocking,"
"scientifically proven," "powerful," and "secret" are
all examples of psychological triggers. Including at
least a few in your headline will catch readers' eyes,
even if they're only skimming initially.
Now, in addition to including psychological triggers,
you will want to make sure that you have some type of
interesting conceptual hook in your sales headline.
For instance, if there is some specific feature of
your product that no other sellers in your market
offer, you will want to make sure that you work that
into your headline.
You will also want to find some way you can intrigue
people into reading more, even beyond conveying a
point of interest, couched in psychological triggers.
For instance, you may want to say something mysterious
or make some bold claim. This will bait people to read
more, if only to find out if you're serious or gimmicky.
Remember, too, to keep in mind that your headline
will need to match up with the rest of your sales
letter. Don't simply make a claim in your sales
headline and then slowly diminish it over the course
of your sales letter. Instead, find some way in which
you can make a powerful headline that matches up with
the content that is about to follow. One way in which
you can do this is to setup a pyramidal structure for
your sales letter. Start off with your most powerful
point in your headline - and then slowly scale down,
including points that are of less interest. Those who
have the least resistance to buying will purchase
instantly; those who have more resistance will
probably need to go through all of the points.
Last, when writing powerful headlines, always
remember to test before launches to determine which
headline works best. You can do this by creating two
sales pages and testing the conversion rate with a pay
per click campaign. Remember to only change one word
or one phrase at a time, so you can clearly identify
what increases or decreases your conversion rate.

10 Reasons Not To Go Into The Money Making Market
into the "make money" market. Below, I will give you
ten of the more important reasons.
1. Your competition is highly skilled. If you think it
is easy to compete in the "make money" market, think
again. Your competition has mastered the art of
selling, which means he or she will be an extremely
tough competitor.
2. Other markets offer less resistance. The "make
money" market is highly oversatured with sellers. For
this reason, it is tough to claim decent positions on
search engines. This is not so with all niches.
3. The learning curve is high if you're inexperienced
selling "make money" products. Since your ability to
train people to sell will be directly dependent on
your ability to sell to them, many people will be
reluctant to buy from you unless your presentation is
far beyond average.
4. Even if you sell within the "make money" market,
your target audience should be small, not large. You
want to find a specific group that can be matched to a
specific product you will produce or have already
produced.
5. Other products are easier to market. When it comes
down to it, people are highly suspicious of any type
of "make money" product or service. If you're selling
something else to them, chances are that they will be
considerably less likely to worry that you are trying
to rip them off.
6. Buyers in the "make money" market may be more
likely to return products, as they perceive sellers to
have tricked them if they do not succeed in making
money with the product (which they usually don't, no
matter how good it is).
7. Buyers wont judge your product on how it "should
be" presented according to protocol that is normally
used for "make money" products. Instead, they will
look at the list of features you have provided.
8. You're better off in the long run if you pursue a
field in which you are interested, rather than simply
a "make money" field. If you don't have any serious
interest in your product, you will more than likely do
a poor job creating and marketin it.
9.Other markets can often be more profitable. Even
though you've heard about those million dollar days,
there are other industries which can be just as
profitable, provided that you spend the time to select
the right one and to cultivate profits.
10. If you don't have a background in "making money"
with some specific system, you may be better off
creating a book or product on some area in which you
have specific expertise.
To reiterate, there are many business models you can
create; however, a business model that caters to the
"make money" crowd is almost always a mistake.

Top 10 Tips For Using Pay-Per-Click Advertising
Pay-per-click advertising has completelyrevolutionized how advertising is done over the
Internet. No longer must advertisers purchase banners
or text link ads on sites for a flat rate per month,
but with virtually no guaranteed results (not even a
guarantee of a click); instead, they can purchase "pay
per click" advertising through a massive contextual ad
server service, such as Google Adwords.
Now, with this new ability to advertise effectively
comes several responsibilities: in order to use it
correctly, you must understand how it works. You can't
simply purchase the top right corner of a site for a
flat rate per month. Below, I've included 10 important
tips for PPC advertising:
1. Actually browse through sites that serve your
advertisements. Eliminate those that are low quality
or that are likely to inflate the price of advertising
by giving you too many clicks per 1000 views.
2. Remember to always determine whether or not it is
cost effective to advertise on contextual ad networks;
or whether you should restrict your pay-per-click
advertisements to the search engine itself.
3. Use "day parting" features to determine when your
advertisements will and wont be shown. If, for
instance, you find that at certain times during the
day, you get a lot of clicks, but none are serious
buyers, you may want to remove your days from that
period of time.
4. Use the statistics program on whichever pay-per-
click advertising program you are using to determine
the effectiveness of ads. If ads are not effective (or
are too effective), replace them with something else.
5. Test and refine your ads until you have the best
possible advertisement (i.e. one that pulls visitors,
but not visitors that don't buy).
6. Determine how many clicks you can afford to pay for
per sale. You should be able to mathematically
determine the optimal price per click.
7. Use Google Adword's keyword tool feature to search
for additional keywords to use in your campaigns. The
more you have, the more traffic you will pull.
8. Remember to segment each campaign into a list of
keywords and an advertisement that matches that list.
The smaller the list of keywords, the more narrowly
focused the advertisement can be, making it more
effective
9. Remove keywords from your campaigns that are not
cost effective. Many keywords will pull searches, but
will end up decreasing your click through rate or not
converting to sales after someone clicks through.
10. Use negative keywords to prevent freebie seekers
from running up your click through count. For
instance, get rid of keywords like "free" and "cheap,"
unless your product is free or cheap.
Follow each of these ten tips carefully and you will
find that using pay per click advertising isn't as
hard as it may seem initially.

List Profits Secret 1. How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action. Part 1
Hello there. Before you go ahead with reading this write-up, ask yourself "Why am I reading this article? Why did I click it open in the first place? Something compelled you; didn't it? Guess what it is -The Headline.Yeah that's why you are reading this article. This seemingly simple step is one of the three you can use in grossly commanding your clients to open and read immediately. You know why? Because it offers the promise of a solution to their problems.
That brings us to key number 1 in email marketing techniques: Make your subject lines as compelling as possible. Not much of a secret, eh? But you would be amazed to know that not many internet marketers are using this seemingly simple method.
This factor alone can increase your subscriber-reading rate by over 70%. The rule is the same. If you want to catch people's attention then pen something that will instantly grab their attention by using terrific psychological triggers.
If you've been around a while, you are aware that not all emails get read. I mean it is hard enough getting the thing through Spam filters to your subscribers' inbox.
Even then, it might not get read. Yet there is a simple technique that you could use each and every time to conjure up wonderful attention-grabbing headlines. That's the reason you are still reading this article. I got your attention long enough to compel you to click through. No hypnotic stuff here, just plain common sense.
Now, how do you get to write such attention-grabbing subject lines? See the end from the beginning. When I started with this article, the goal I had in mind was to teach how you could get your subscribers to click through your headlines. So, I had to ask myself "What do I want my reader to do?" "What do I want them to achieve?" Simple, eh? Yeah.
At the beginning of this article, you got the impression that there was something you needed to know. You realised you wanted to learn this and that's the reason you are still reading this article. At the beginning, there was a hint of getting results with our email marketing campaigns -specifically getting almost everyone on your list to click through and read your emails.
That is simply what marketing and ad writing is all about. For example, let's say you are selling shoes and you want your subscribers to buy the new foot cream or sweat-inhibiting foot powder in your stock. Sending them an email with the subject line: "Buy New Sweat Inhibiting Powder" will not get as many results as "How Do You Stop Your Feet from Smelling?" Now you see that is a unique question everyone who wears shoes is asking.
So you are attending to their innate needs by asking that question. Because it is a problem they need solved, you are bound to get higher clickthroughs and ultimately make more sales.
Another result-getting technique you can use is personalization. Instead of just including "Dear friend" or "Dear Subscriber", you might want to personalize your emails. Most autoresponders now have the facility to do that.
All you have to do is automate it to send emails with subject lines starting with the subscribers' firstname. For example, you could send an email with the title "[FIRSTNAME], here's how I build my list..." Personalizing your email is important as it promotes some form of cordiality. It enhances trust on the part of the subscriber and more importantly, singles your email out almost immediately making it stand out in the crowd.
Get your subscribers attention by piquing their curiosity. The ability to do this sets you apart from your competition. Marketers who have mastered this skill have always made money and gotten higher clickthroughs than their competition.
A subject line like "How I got 20,000 visitors in 7 days using just RSS feeds" will definitely grab your audience's attention and trigger a psychological response making them think they could achieve the same if it is real and doable. The next thing they think after seeing that is "Really? Is that possible? Let me find out" and click. Your email opens before them.
In the next issue we'll look at another very important aspect of generating higher subscriber results and clickthroughs. In the meantime, watch out for "List Profits Secret 1. How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action. Part 2".
Remember what today's lesson is: Make your headlines as compelling as possible.

Viral Marketing techniques: How to Rake in Huge Amounts of Cash Creating a Viral Mechanism. Part 2
Creating a viral mechanism that will boost and increase your website's popularity and conversion rates is as easy as 1, 2, 3. It all depends on you doing the right thing. When I mean easy, it does not mean you won't work at all; you will have to do some work by yourself. But it is an easily predictable pattern of action. The easiest way to do this is write a report that is based on something relevant. Then go ahead and tie it to your product and services that you intend to market or sell. If you do not have a product, you can sell someone else's for a part of the sales. Writing a report is not so hard. All you need to know is how to solve people's problems. The most important step here is gathering information on what you either perceive or know to be important to the people you want to sell the product to.
To determine what is relevant and needed, send an email to your list -if you have any- asking them to send you their most important questions.
Usually, an email stating ten most important questions delivered within a day does the magic. If you do not have a list, you might try asking that in the forums.
A word about forum posting: Don't post your links in the forums. It could get you banned. If you ask people to tell their questions, they will be willing to tell you. Then you can go ahead and write a 5-10 paged report or whatever amount of pages will suffice. While writing the report, ensure your products and services are well inserted in to the report.
Be sure to answer the most important ones; usually, you can identify these from among the tons of emails you might get or replies in the forum. I remember trying this exact same technique on a very popular forum and it became a sticky post in just 2 days.
That's to show how many people are interested in someone getting their problems solved. After that, go ahead and send them an email reminding them of the questions you asked them the previous week. Then tell them the answers to the questions have been provided and can be downloaded at a certain location -in this case, your website or a one-paged site you set up for it- and can be had for just a single favor they could do for you.
You could then go ahead to tell them that to get it, they should just refer three of their friends. Because this is something they really crave, they'll willingly do that for you. Imagine the exponential effect it will have on your marketing. One telling three, three telling nine, nine telling twenty seven, twenty seven telling eighty one and so on.
If on the other hand, you got the questions using online forums and message boards, you can go back there and post a reply to the questions, telling them they can find answers to their questions via a report. Also state the fact the report is filled with all of the answers.
You can list the questions and their answers with their various pages. This will incite them to get to the page you put up for that single purpose and before you know it, you have a lot of traffic to your website which becomes popular by this single method.
After you have finished, you can go ahead and replicate the same method with other products in different niches you might want to dabble into.

Viral Marketing techniques: How to Rake in Huge Amounts of Cash Creating a Viral Mechanism. Part 1
Ever heard of the virus whether in man or on the computer? The most popular one we all know is the HIV virus which is a very potent virus that can wipe away a 6 ft 5" man in just 6 months if he isn't using his drugs. While this seems to be pretty fast, imagine the Ebola virus. If one catches it, he's dead in just one week; at the most two weeks and you know the thing about Ebola is that it's incurable. Why does the virus have such ability to wipe away a whole populace within just a few days, it is because of its ability to proliferate rapidly and spread faster than even wildfire.
What does this have to do with marketing online or offline? This is where we are going. Imagine creating these same results but in his case, you are not transmitting a virus. You are spreading word about your report, product or services and it is following the viral mechanism.
This is what is known as Viral Marketing. It is a method of marketing that is highly productive as long as you are offering high quality content. Imagine creating a viral mechanism that is unstoppable and keeps spreading like wildfire? You can achieve this if you know what to do and how to go about it. There are a few ways you could easily do this and we'll start with it in this lesson.
Using a tell-a-friend script. If you have visited any website recently that is constantly updated, you will find that it will have a script on the page that either says "send this to a friend", "tell a friend about this page", or "tell a friend about this website and get %u2026". This is abundant all over the internet.
The idea behind this single script is to increase the awareness of a product, website or service all over the internet and in the real world. For example let's say you found this really nice material on reducing labour pains during birth and has a friend who is pregnant, it is only natural that you would want to send her that material to read.
Online, all you have to do is enter her email address and voila she gets it in her inbox. After which you might now call her to either check out the website or her email. If she's got a group for pregnant women, she could refer them to the site or send the material to them through an email.
Now you see what happened. "A" saw the material and liked it and felt "B" who in turn felt 14 people would really like it too and so on and so forth. The bottom line is you have created through one person, a mechanism that grows geometrically or exponentially depending on which angle you are looking at it from.
Using a tell-a-friend script is one of the best ways you can create this effect. To get a very good tell-a-friend script, you can use your search engine to check for some using the keywords "free tell-a-friend scripts", get a programmer to create a simple script for you for under $100 or Mike filsaime's Viral friend Generator which can be found at www.ViralFriendPower.com .
Remember today's lesson: Create a viral mechanism using tell-a-friend scripts.

Top 5 Ways to Promote and Market an Affiliate Program
Marketing affiliate products can be challenging if you don't know what to do and how to go about the marketing. There are various methods via which you can get an affiliate product in the face of people. But in this article, we'll be examining the top five methods that you can use in promoting affiliate products.1. Marketing to a list.
It is imperative that every marketer build a list. Why? Because the money is in the list. Anything short of that is less than spectacular. Marketing to an "opt-in" list built by you almost always generates lots of money on affiliate products. To do this effectively, all you need to do is create an avenue where you can consistently send your subscribers an email with offers.
The list is about the best source of marketing because the subscribers trust you -if you have been offering high quality information and recommending reputable products- and know that what you offer them is of high value. Remember the "no lesson today" method we talked about in a particular edition, this is where you can utilise the method effectively. You can just decide to take one day off every week to make them these offers.
2. Use Pay per click methods.
Using PPC methods effectively entails just two things: Doing proper keyword research and bidding reasonably. PPC search engines ask you to pay a preset amount for every click you generate. The good thing about using pay per click Programs such as Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN Adcenter is you get highly targeted traffic.
Only those who are searching for your products get to see them. For instance, if I am looking for Shoes of size 43 to buy and I type that keyword into the google search bar, I will get results that are tailored towards that search. So, the only listings I will see will be those related to shoes.
Now, if someone -an affiliate of a shoe merchant- places an ad about the various shoes sizes, I will definitely check out his website. If I like what I see, I could decide to buy from him. Do you get the idea? To use this method well, learn how to research your keywords properly so that you won't run at a loss.
3. Use Ezine and newsletter ads.
Most affiliate programs provide you with material that you can send as solo ad or top sponsor ads. All you need do is buy an adspace in any of the ezines that catch your fancy and have them send the offer to their subscribers.
If your letter is well crafted, [people have been known to make lots of dough from this method. You could also use this method to just generate a flurry of traffic to your landing page where people will sign up for more information or an ecourse that you would have programmed your autoresponder to send out on a daily basis.
In this ecourse, they'll read the information and then go ahead to visit the recommended link (your affiliate link). That way you could also make lots of sales.
4. Distribute Viral reports.
These are reports that different people can pass on to their friends to read. All you need do is fill it with information that is extremely relevant, include your affiliate links in the reports and have give people the permission to give it away as long as the content is not tampered with. This also generates lots of results not to mention profits as it spreads like wildfire all over the internet.
5. Article Writing.
Write articles that are tailored to the products and services you intend to sell, and post on various article directories. Most article directories have categories for almost anything on the surface of the earth.
From UFOs to Astrology to Wizardry to Xmas Celebrations. Write your articles; create a compelling byline with the affiliate link lading to the destination page. If you want to mask the link, you can either create a redirect or use link shrinking services such as tunyurl.com, snipurl.com, Gentleurl.com.
To test how effective this method is, write just 5 articles on a topic, post in five different article directories then wait to see the results. If you are satisfied with it, then you might want to incorporate it into your overall marketing strategy.

7 Reasons Why Your Subscribers Aren't Buying From You
As an Internet business owner, you hear the phrase "the money is inthe list" on an almost daily basis. Perhaps this form of social proof
convinced you to build a list for your business in the first place,
rather than sending visitors directly to a sales page.
Initially, things probably went off without a hitch. You created a
high quality squeeze page, redirected all of your traffic to it, and
then started counting the opt-ins. It may have bothered you at first
to give up sales you could have made directly, but you knew it was
worth it - or at least you thought it was worth it.
Unfortunately, things didn't work out as everyone predicted they
would. And now you're struggling to make enough off of your list to
pay for your autoresponder, when you know you could have made five
times as much through direct sales. You want to give up and go back
to direct sales, but you're hoping there's some other way.
So why aren't your customers buying from you? There are a number of
reasons. In the remainder of this article, I am going to present the
top seven - the most likely reasons why they have for not purchasing
your offers.
1. You made too many offers too soon. This kills a lot of lists. If
your first few emails in your autoresponder series bombard readers with offers, there's a good chance that the people receiving your emails aren't reading them anymore.
2. You gave out low quality information. This, too, is a big list
killer. In a desperate effort to make a list, site owners throw
together low-quality information. What they don't understand is that
this wont list subscribers reading.
3. You do not have enough credibility. If you immediately launch into
a product offer in the first issue, you probably will have no
credibility with your subscribers whatsoever, which will act as a
barrier to their buying.
4. Your offer is not good enough. If you don't have at least
reasonably good products, you can expect less and less list members
to buy each successive product. You can also expect more return
requests.
5. You offer untargeted products. If you are bombarding your lists
with untargeted offers, not only will they not buy, but they also
will stop paying attention and may even unsubscribe.
6. You have made it too difficult for subscribers to actually
purchase from you. If you don't accept credit cards and Paypal at a
bare minimum, you can expect that very few people will purchase your
offer. No one wants to write out a check and mail it to you. Seriously.
7. Your pitch was too weak. Perhaps you failed to give them a free
demo version of your product or perhaps the copy simply was not
compelling. Whatever the reason happens to be, you didn't compel your
readers to buy, so they didn't.
As I said earlier, I am not going to provide you with solutions to
each of these problems. The solutions should be relatively self-
evident. All you have to do now is re-read these seven items,
identify which of these is preventing your subscribers from buying,
and then revise your strategy to eliminate these barriers.

Blogging - Using Free Blogs To Make Money
There are a number of different ways in which you canuse blogs to make money. Some blog owners constantly
put up content-intensive, frequently-updated material;
whereas others simply add a new post every once in a
while. Both models can work reasonably well at
generating revenue.
Let's look at the first model and what is required:
in order to make money with a high quality blog, you
will want to generate most of your traffic through
word of mouth recommendation, rather than through
search engine optimization, which will not give you
any benefits for producing superior material. This
means that you will want to promote your blog through
different avenues.
I personally suggest that you consider two different
avenues: 1) using social bookmarking sites to gain
steam; and 2) promoting on forums.
Doing well with the first option entails creating
something that is legitimately interesting; and then
facilitating its circulation by submitting that page
to social bookmarking sites, such as
http://del.icio.us and http://www.digg.com.
Additionally, on your blog, post a link that brings
users to a social bookmarking site on which they can
vote for your video or whatever it is you created. The
more who vote on your blog, the better that blog post
will rank on the social bookmarking system, increasing
the amount of people who read your blog.
Now, if you prefer to take a different approach - to
create multiple profitable, but low-maintenance blogs
- you can simply create a blog and purchase
information for it. For instance, you could setup a
blog about dieting; and then purchase a set of 15
articles from a ghostwriter. Every 3-4 days, you could
post a new article about dieting. Once you have a blog
running, you can then move to the next one while you
wait for the first to begin getting search again
traffic.
With this method, you will want to get natural search
engine traffic, rather than referred traffic, as the
content you post will be high-quality, but not
anything that will elicit some type of viral effect
from social bookmarking sites.
Furthermore, when generating traffic, you will want
to find ways to recycle it to ensure that your traffic
constantly grows in the future.
Last, you will want to figure out how to monetize
your blog or blogs. You can do this with advertising,
by selling products, or by setting up some type of
subscription. I personally suggest that you leave your
blog unmonetized until you begin to build a regular
base of visitors; however, if you are planning to go
the multiple blog route, you may simply want to throw
up Adsense ads immediately.

This special post is for all you that seem to be weighed down and drowning in a sea of ideas, better known as Idea Overload.I could start this off by telling you how many days and nights I spent in a total state of Idea Overload, how "I've been in your shoes", or even that "I feel your pain".
However, what you really need to hear is exactly how my story unfolded.
If you are really interested in changing the way you handle business; I must suggest that you sit up, pay attention, and take notes.
During 2003, I decided to test my skills in the marketing world on a part-time basis. After this humble beginning, I moved into marketing full-time in 2005. Early in my first year of marketing full-time, a realization set in: I was spinning my wheels and already needed new tires. How did I come to this realization? I had to have my life put into perspective by a motivational speaker.
Mike Litman is a very popular motivational speaker based on one very simple motto, which hit me hard when I first heard it.
The One Quote That Hit Me%u2026
Mike emphasizes, "You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going". Now, if you're not familiar with Mike Litman, take a look through his website, www.mikelitman.com. This one small quote changed my life and I do not mind giving him credit for it. While Mike might not be the creator of this statement, or if he obtained this wisdom from someone else, I am very glad he uses it frequently. I also heard this from Marlon Sanders.
It made perfect sense to me that there was a reason for my problems. I could not seem to get anything done and I had not even been able to earn my first dollar in the marketing world. After obtaining more information from Mike Litman and many other informative websites, I realized that I had too many ideas and information stored in my head. All of these ideas were becoming stagnant because I could not put them into action.
I discovered that I could not get my ideas into action because I was a perfectionist. Yes, this sounds a little crazy because a perfectionist would be determined to have all plans working in proper order immediately.
I could not even get mine started because I did not know how to make these ideas run smoothly in the beginning. In my mind, it was better to keep the idea hidden instead of starting a project that might fail.
I consistently held dozens of ideas in my head waiting for the enlightening moment when I realized exactly how I could make the project go through perfectly. You will never believe this, but those ideas NEVER BECAME PERFECT. Always remember that no idea starts out perfect and there is always room for improvement.
This one quote, "You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going", gave me the ability to change this part of my personality. I changed the way I approached things with my business and the way I made decisions for my business.
I started by asking myself the following three questions:
1. "What is the easiest project to complete?"
2. "What is the fastest project to complete?"
3. "Which project will lead to my ultimate goal?"
Your ultimate goal could be to buy your first home, make $100,000, go for a holiday to Fiji or whatever.
At the time, my ultimate goal was to make at least $100,000 online. My first sale was only a measly $5, but I could be proud that I had successfully taken a project from start to finish. I had also given a customer more than a product; I had created VALUE in my product and now understood that "VALUE SELLS".
I still remember the day of the first sale when I was jumping in the air shouting "Yes!!" My family heard this and thought I was crazy getting excited over $5. I am positive my neighbors heard and thought I was crazy too. Maybe I was crazy and maybe I still am, but I now understand how to get my ideas into action and I want to help you understand too.
Did this bring me closer to my ultimate goal of $100,000 online? Sure it did. Before you make your first $100, you have to first make your first dollar.
Evaluate yourself and decide which of these two choices you would take:
1. Start a large project that you think MAY result in a large monetary gain.
2. Start a minor project that you think will be faster and easier to accomplish, but will only result in a minor monetary gain.
After hearing the quote of my life, I would choose the second option. The second option would allow me to get started quickly, have early success, build tremendous momentum and keep my self-esteem high. This would also allow me to follow the advice of another well-known writer of self-help books, Mr. Anthony Robbins. Anthony Robbins mentioned the power of "Chunking" in one of his earlier books, called "Notes From A Friend".
"The most successful people are those who understand the power of 'chunking', who don't bite off more than they can chew at one time. In other words, they break a goal down into bite-sized pieces, achievable 'sub-goals' that lead toward the ultimate success they desire. But it's not enough just to set sub-goals; you have to celebrate the achievement of each small step. This will help you build momentum and develop habits that will gradually turn your dreams into reality."
- Anthony Robbins
Chunking is a perfect example of getting the small projects going and work your way towards your primary objective. The point that these speakers are making is that your ideas do not have to be perfect; you just have to get them going.
So what if your software has some bugs and crashes every now and then, ever hear of Windows ME®? Yes, even Microsoft takes chances with projects that need to be pushed out quickly. Did this minor failure make Bill Gates stop putting out more software that is full of bugs? Of course it didn't, Gates understands the philosophy of getting your ideas out and fixing the major problems as you go. And what's even smarter is how Gates hands out "beta" versions to the public, for free, so they'll find the bugs!
You don't have to make everything perfect at the start. You can always optimize and tweak it once it's out there. On the contrary, I'm not saying to create and put out "crap".
I know that there may be some people who may not agree with my thinking, but this is what's worked for me and I'm simply sharing my story.
The bottom line is, if you have a sea of ideas that you want to turn into something more, then%u2026
"You don't have to get it right; you just have to get it going"
Here are my:
Top 5 Tips on How To Get Things Done
1. Make a checklist of 10 things or tasks you want to complete for today, in order of priority. The task(s) you did not complete for today can be continued on the next day. So the next day you'd have another checklist of the 10 things you need to get done.
2. Ever heard of the quote "Do what you do best and outsource the rest"? That's right. Focus on your strengths and get someone else to do the work you hate or weak at. If you're on a shoe-string budget, why not do a barter? i.e. - commit to a quid pro quo. Bottom line is, don't be the "one man band".
3. Get yourself an "Idea book". Go to your local stationary store and buy a cheap notepad where you can jot down your ideas. That way you don't forget your ideas and you can refer back to it anytime.
4. Build relationships with other people in your market. I feared telling my business buddies about my latest ideas, because I thought that they'd "steal" my idea. Much to my surprise, that wasn't so. Sharing your ideas amongst you fellow business associates, acquaintance or friends, will potentially allow you to brainstorm through your idea to give you suggestions, tips and pointers to enhance your idea. The truth of the matter is, they may know more about a certain area than you. So find and build relationships with other people in your market.
5. Get the right tools and work in an environment where you're comfortable working in. If you're sitting on a really uncomfortable seat, then it'll be hard for you to work on the computer. Especially if you're going to work at longer periods. Get the right tools and software to keep yourself working productively. Lock yourself if you have to get your work done. One crazy, but rewarding thing I did was book a hotel for three days to get an important task done. Do this if you have to.

10 Reasons Not To Go Into The Money Market
into the "make money" market.

3 Ways to Generate more Profits From Your Subscribers
The number one question asked by most email marketers is "How do I get more response from my lists?"
This question is about the easiest solved. It is just that people are always looking for the harder ways because they think "the harder the technique, the more profits I'll make". Wrong. Remember Occam's razor? You would if you have read the One Minute Millionaire by Robert. G. Allen and Mark Victor Hansen.
It simply states that when you have varying solutions to a problem, the simplest solution is always the best. This is simple isn't it? But most people think it is not possible. So they keep searching for the wrong solutions.
In this article, I'll explain three simple steps that will increase the profits you make from your list(s).
1. Provide value. Don't give your subscribers trash. Provide them with high quality content. The reason they subscribed to you is because you know something they don't and they want to benefit from that. So, fill their needs.
While it is good to have a guest writer occasionally, let your voice be heard. Let people realise the import of what they are learning from you. Give them YOUR own tips, YOUR own advice. You have experience. Share it with them.
Make sure your content is practical. Think "what do I want them to do after reading this?" Your subscribers should be able to come away from the computer thinking about what you said and the possible applications.
If you keep offering them quality content, you are bound to have them waiting for your next edition. The reason subscribers unsubscribe from any list is because they are not getting any value from the marketer. So make it an important factor in your marketing.
You don't have to send them emails daily. If you do it biweekly, weekly or monthly and offer high quality content, you are bound to get astonishing results.
2. Check to see if your subscribers get your mails. This can be done though it might entail an amount of work.
Simply send them an email and tell them to hit the reply button if they got the mail. This would give you an idea of how many are getting your mails compared to the number of people you sent it to. The idea behind this is simple.
Most marketers miss out a lot on the email campaigns because their subscribers are not getting their mails and therefore, they cannot make any money.
It is amazing but statistics have shown that about 10% of the total number of people on your list gets your mails. That leaves out 90%! Gross isn't it?
3. Send offers. Obvious technique; few practitioners.
Marketers are usually scared they will lose their subscribers if they send them offers. Wrong. They subscribed because they felt they could get high value from you and trust you over time. If they can trust you, then it means you can provide them with high quality resources.
Over 90% are not exploring this avenue. So, if you want to increase your income, explore this avenue. This will put you on the top moneymaking 10%.
Let's recap:
1. Provide value
2. Check to see they got our mails
3. Send them genuine practicable offers.
Practice these three techniques, and you are bound to smile more frequently to the bank.

Top 10 Tips For Using Pay-Per-Click Advertising
revolutionized how advertising is done over the
1.Actually browse through sites that serve your
advertisements. Eliminate those that are low quality
or that are likely to inflate the price of advertising
by giving you too many clicks per 1000 views.
2.Remember to always determine whether or not it is
cost effective to advertise on contextual ad networks;
or whether you should restrict your pay-per-click
advertisements to the search engine itself.
6.Determine how many clicks you can afford to pay for

How to Start Your Own Affiliate Program
An effective way of doing this is creating an affiliate program where, for a commission, people can help you advertise your products and services. You do not have to pay them until they make a sale for you.
There are quite a few ways you can go about creating an affiliate program. Quite a few internet marketers use third party payment processors. These are websites that stand as a go-between for merchants and prospective clients.
You could either decide to let these websites do the setting up of your affiliate program for you in the sense that all they would do is list your products under the list of products that can be promoted by affiliates, they manage and track all transactions, and make the payouts. All you get at the end of a month is the amount of money after your affiliates have been paid.
The reason this approach is good is because the marketer has saved a lot of stress and can go ahead to face the building of his business instead of spending countless hours processing orders, and sending the customers their products and services. But if you decide you want to go it alone, there are various ways you can create your own affiliate program.
1. Create a webpage for the affiliates. This webpage is separate from the main sales page.
In this page, you'll have to tell them why they should sell your products and not those of many other people. In most cases, including how much you are willing to part with per sale is usually good enough.
The rounds making the internet now is if the commission is less than 50%, avoid it like a plague. I have personally seen commissions in the excess of 70%. Usually, most affiliates do not go beyond this stage. Once they've seen how much you are willing to offer them, they make up their minds on whether to promote your products or not. Notwithstanding, create a page outlining all the benefits of selling your products.
Most experienced marketers know that it is not just the selling that matters. The quality of the product is also highly essential.
2. Create various tools of marketing. Create email ads that have been tested and proven reliable and highly converting, create solo ads templates, ezine ads templates. This cuts the learning curve drastically. So, instead of the affiliate marketer having to come up with his own email ad, you'd have created it for him. So, all he does is copy and paste, and he's ready to blast his ads.
3. Create Banners and text link ads. Hire a graphic designer to create your banners for you. While it's been recently stated that banner ads don't do well, some have been converting well. Those banners known to convert well are those that are pleasing to the eye, and not placed in an intrusive position on the webpage.
4. Create a list of keywords your affiliates can bid on if they want to use pay per click ads. Do as much keyword research as possible. Gather as many keywords that are relevant as possible.
Many merchants just look for any keyword regardless of its relevance and put them in a list. This method is wrong. Why? Because if you have a newbie who just wants to make money, he might believe all the research has been done for him. So, he goes ahead to use the untargeted keywords. What occurs in summary is he loses money and makes up his mind to never promote your products again.
Get the picture now? You want to build a team; not a set of loosely coordinated fellows.
5. Create a resources area for those want to learn. Include links to both free and paid resources they could learn from. Offer tips and tricks that could help boost sales and overall results.

The Biggest Mistake My Friend Made When Publishing An Ebook
sales, no traffic to your website and no profits.
How depressing will that be%u2026
A while ago my friend, just finished writing and
publishing his new ebook called "How To Be A Good
Retail Worker". He has no problems with writing an ebook.
He knew how to write, he knew how to organize his
work into a structured way. But he had one problem -
He couldn't sell it in the end! Why? Because he failed
to see how big the demand was for
information on Retail working work. He didn't research
before he published his finished ebook. He lost hope and
didn't have any confidence anymore. He was assuming people
will buy his book and he was hoping that a lot of people were
looking for information about this subject. He failed miserably!
To be frank, without doing your "research" you'll go no where
with your ebook venture. You'll be brain dead and you'll
be like a blind man going no where but the wall in front of him.
Without researching before hand you'll:
- Waste a lot of your time (and time = money).
- End up having no hope and momentum.
- Wonder if you're ebook will ever sell or not.
- You'll need to guess and hope a lot. Hope, hope & hope.
Most people fail to do their research FIRST before they write
their ebook because they think that it will sell good. They
hope in wonders that it'll sell like the best ebook anyone
has seen. They think that they'll "get rich overnight".
Listen, just because you've got good knowledge about a certain
topic, it doesn't mean that it will sell! (Sorry if you
studied ten years on that subject)
To check and see how many people are actually looking for that
topic, search that topic in your favourite search engine
such as Yahoo.com. Just for an example you can search a
topic about "How to make money". You'll literally get over
3.7 billion results. Do you think that this "product"
will even sell? Look at the competition it has. The
business sector makes up most of the population of all
subjects.
So my point here is that you need to create a product that
either no one has or create a product better than your
competitors. You can create an ebook based on a niche
market.
If you do your research on the topic of your ebook, you'll
benefit immensely because:
- You'll know your competition & how large it is before hand.
- You'll know if people will even buy your ebook.
- You'll know how much to sell it for because you can
compare prices with your competitors.
- It'll save you a massive amount of time.
- You'll have more confidence in writing the ebook because
you're absolutely certain that it will be a "winning product".
There are many tools and resources that offer you to research
hot markets.
Three tools I personally use to find hot markets include:
- Keyword suggestion tools - Such as Overture's keyword
suggestion tool.
- Hidden tools that not many people make use of -
If you want to find very niche markets try looking at Ebay's
categories such as Books & Comics > Business > Ebooks.
One other "hidden" tool that not many people us is eBay's "Pulse".
This tool will show you the top 10 keywords
searched on ebay. You will find this tool on the homepage,
called "eBay Pulse".
- Forums - Take a look at the forum that relates to your
topic. If your subject has something to do with weight
loss then search "weight loss forums" in your search
engine. You'll find a lot of people posting their
questions and problems.
- Surveys & Questionaries - If you have an opt-in list why
don't you survey your list about the topic? Ask them what
is the biggest problem in __________.
The biggest tip I can give you is to take baby steps. Get
those "small ideas" that you had a long time ago and work
on that first. So then you can make "achievable goals" not
a huge project which would take a lot of time and money.
So if you really want to learn how to sell and profit from y
our ebooks and I'm stressing this out - It is highly
imperative, important & crucial that you do your research
of your market FIRST before you even type/write a single
letter or word on your text editor/notepad. You'll then
cut the guess work.

7 Ways To Generate Free Website Traffic
feat that it is made out to be. In fact, there are
many different ways in which you can generate free
traffic. Some are better than others; and some are
especially effective in some niches, but not in
others. Below, I've listed seven such methods:
1. Write articles and submit them to directories.
Include a link in your resource box that points to
your site. This will generate traffic and click
throughs long after you publish it.
2. Add "keyword" pages to your site. You can do this
by writing articles that are focused around a certain
keyword and then simply uploading them to your site.
When your site is indexed by the search engines,
traffic will pick up for those keywords.
3. Begin finding link partners and exchanging links.
This will not only get you direct click through
traffic from other sites, but it will also get you
search engine traffic once those sites are indexed and
your site is given credit for the inbound links.
4. Create a high-quality flash video or real life
video; add it to a page on your site. Post that video
on You Tube, Break.com, and on all social bookmarking
sites, such as http://del.icio.us, and
http://www.technorati.com. If your video is
exceptionally funny or interesting, people will begin
to circulate your video around the Internet. Remember
to include the URL of your site in the video, so
viewers can figure out how to find your products.
5. Create a free report on a specific subject related
to your business. In that report, include a link to
your site (preferably a newsletter opt-in form) every
few pages. Take that report and give it away for free
to every site owner in your niche. If you have a link
to one of your products in that report, allow the site
owner to rebrand it. That will make him much more
likely to redistribute it.
6. Post regularly on forums related to your site.
This is perhaps the easiest and quickest way to
generate traffic. All it entails is creating an
account on several good forums, making useful and
interesting posts, and then including a signature file
that allows readers to click through to your site.
7. Post free ads in places that actually get traffic.
Using "free ad forums" may be a waste of time in many
instances; however, bulletin boards that get traffic,
but allow free advertisement, may be a good place to
look.
If your current advertising budget is higher than
you'd like, you should consider using free
advertising.

The Real Secrets To Choosing A Great Domain Name
There are many domain name registrars but I'd highly recommend you register with http://www.namecheap.com. They are the cheapest and most reliable. GoDaddy are popular but once a few people make complaints that you're "spamming" then that domain name will be kept hold by GoDaddy - They have complete control of your domain. This is where Namecheap.com stands out.
From my 3+ years of Internet Marketing experience, here are some of my best tips when choosing a domain name that is easy to remember, effective, catchy and basically - Great!
*
Your domain name should be your product/service name.
So for example, if your product is called XYZ Killer Secrets then your domain should be xyzkillersecrets.com. That way people will remember your site and product.
*
Avoid '-' dashes
Unless you have a good reason to use it. It's sometimes not easy to remember sites that have a '-' in them. Tell me, which one would look and sound better - www.xyzkillersecrets.com or www.xyz-killer-secrets.com ? How would you tell your friend face-to-face when they ask what your site is? xyzkillersecrets dot com or xyz DASH killer DASH secrets dot com?
*
Avoid funny domain extensions
such as .tv, .biz, .cc unless there is a good reason to. You wouldn't use a domain name such as www.xyzkillersecrets.com.au unless that product was meant to be seen by local users of Australia. You'd use .com.au if you have a pizza restaurant such as Jim's Pizza's or something.
*
Stick with the standard .COM. extension
Everybody knows what .COM is and it is by far the easiest to remember. If the domain that you want is taken with an extension of .COM then choose a different name. There are many combinations you can try out.
*
Keep it as short and simple
It is difficult to get a short domain name but just a rule of thumb - the shorter the better. The lesser words the better.
o
Don't put too many 'words' e.g. - www.TheRealSecretsToLosingWeightWhileYouSleep.com. Instead of using that use www.LoseWeightWhileYouSleep.com. Use the key words.
o
A few example of short and simple domains - OutsourceSecrets.com, UndergroundGiveaway.com.
o
It's also a good idea to keep it short so when you create your email account it'll look simpler e.g. - greg@gregsmowing.com.
*
Make it catchy
Be a buddy of POWER WORDS. Power words are words such as "secrets", "killer", "Top", "Amazing". If you want to see a complete list of power words & phrases download my WebCopyWordsThatMakeYouRich.com. You'll get a rich amount of power words & phrases ('swipefiles') so if you're running out of words to use on your domain name then simply use this.
*
The power of 'uniqueness' & branding.
Uniqueness meaning that if your product was called xyz killer secrets you'd sure want to register for the .COM, .NET, .ORG and all the other popular domain extensions so you're the only person who has that name. It's also useful because if someone went to for example Logos2go.NET but your site was Logos2go.COM then that person would end up at a different site - not yours and you'll probably lose that potential customer.
Use these simple guidelines and you'll avoid making the painful mistakes of choosing the wrong domain. Follow these simple tips and you'll sure make people remember your site and what more -- it'll brand your site.

How to Use Simple Written Articles to Drive Lots of Traffic to Your Website - Part 1
Article marketing requires a lot of research and knowledge. If not, you'll end up turning out garbage like most articles out on the internet. There are two major ways of writing your articles. You could either decide to write yourself or outsource -contract it to another person. Writing takes a lot of patience. If you have not been writing prior to this time, it will only take you 1 hour of practice every day for the next 1 month to become pretty good at it. All you need is the ability to gather your thoughts together and put them down on paper.
If you do not want to write by yourself, outsource your article contracts. For a little amount of money -say between $10-$15 depending on the length of the article- you could get article writers to write your articles for you and have them pass on all the rights to you. Whether you want to write by yourself or outsource, the best way to approach writing articles is by doing your research. You need to know what questions people are asking as you do not want to deal with issues that have been overflogged already.
Articles that are specific usually get a lot more high quality traffic than a generalized one. For example, if you wrote an article on autoresponders, you may get traffic but may not make any sales. But if you wrote an article on a topic like "How to make money using your autoresponder", "How to suck in cash every time you send an email to your subscribers" etc., you'll find people will readily listen. Reason? You are providing a specified content, giving high quality information and more importantly, answering a question that many people are asking. A typical example is this article you are reading. I could have titled it "Article writing: A general Overview". Some people would sure take a look at what I have written just for looking sakes. But with the topic, "How to Use Simple Written Articles to Drive Lots of Traffic to Your Website," you are bound to click through. Why? Because there is promise of my solving your traffic needs with the information in the article. Now, assuming I have a website at the end of this article with the title: "Article writing: A general Overview" or one with the title: "How to Use Simple Written Articles to Drive Lots of Traffic to Your Website," which would you more likely click? Yeah, this one because I could solve your traffic generation or website promotion problems.
So, your article should be very highly targeted to the audience who would need the information you will be passing across to them. In the Part 2 of these series, you'll find out the various techniques you can use in writing highly needed articles and generate lots of traffic from it.
Remember today's lesson: Research the market, field, niche, or topic properly so you can know what questions people are asking and then solve it through your article.

Discover How To Use The Power Of Words
increase sales dramatically...
How can you accomplish this? Simply by using the right set
of words and phrases.
It's been three years since I've been marketing online
and the number one skill you can have, as a marketer, is writing killer web copy.
But learning how to write great copy takes practice. A lot
of practice.
During my past online marketing experience I
compiled a list of hundreds of power words and phrases that
I think were really compelling to me.
Each time I came across a great piece of copy I would immediately
write down the words they used that attracted me onto my 49c
notepad.
Today, I have a great list of jaw-dropping words I can refer
to when I'm writing any type of marketing media such as
sales copy.
The problem is that there's so much competition in cyber
space. People creating "make money" ebook products, "diet"
ebook products and many more.
A lot of questions from people selling information products
came up, such as:
* How can I separate myself from my competition?
* How can I make my sales copy more irresistible?
* How can I use psychological devices to inspire & persuade
people to take action?
The first thing you can do to dramatically increase
conversion rates is change the way you describe and explain
things.
Don't bore people with overused words and phrases such as
"How to create ebooks in 5 steps". Instead, add power words, psychological words, and phrases.
Here's an example - "How To Easily & Quickly Create A
Winning eBook Using 5 Proven Steps, Guaranteed".
Can you see the difference?
If this were a product, which one out of the two headlines
would you buy from? Of course the second headline! Because:
1. It makes a promise ("Guaranteed")
2. It highlights the main benefit ("Create A Winning ebook")
3. It shows you how easy it is ("Easily & Quickly")
4. It's concise & specific ("5 proven steps")
This is just one use of using the power of words and
phrases. This concept can be used on headlines, subject
lines, auction headlines/descriptions, Pay-Per-Click advertising
and any marketing media you could think of.
Here are four easy steps you can take right now to create a list
of killer words and phrases for you to refer in the future:
1. But a notepad - It doesn't need to be fancy. I use a
49c notepad I bought from the local grocery store. Or you
could use a word processing software such as notepad.
2. Keep this notepad next to you at all times when you're
online. If you see a word that sounds appealing, write it
down immediately.
3. Organize them in alphabetical order. Numbers can also
be added to you list. For example 100%.
4. If you're not on your computer and you see a great word,
write it down on anything you can find - even a paper towel.
Or type it on your mobile phone.
I'm speaking from experience and creating your own 'list' of
words and phrases can benefit immensely for your online
business.
When you get to the stage of writing your copy, simply take
out your words list and insert some words to juice up your
copy.
Without doing small exercise anyone can create, will just
lead to poor copy and allot of thinking. Thinking of words
to use on your copy.
So if you really want to dramatically increase your
conversion rate then the first and most simplest things you
could do, without paying an extra dime on advertising, is
changing the way you communicate to the reader. And that's by
using the power of words & phrases.

Secrets To Choosing A Superior Autoresponder
Before you even consider paying for an autoreponder, whether it be an autoresponder service or your own software script, you need to know these facts I'm about to reveal to you first.
Firstly, what's an autoresponder?
An autoresponder basically automates much of your email responses. Here's an example...
Have you ever sent an email to a commercial email and got a reply, almost instantly, containing "We've received your email and will respond shortly" ? Well that's what a basic autoresponder does. It only comes handy for a once off reply.
With email marketing and list building we need a special autoresponder called a "sequential autoresponder". A sequential autoresponder can store several, even 100's, of email messages into it's system and each email message can be set to send out each email on predetermined days. Example -
When someone subscribes to "ABC newsletter" they might receive the first email straight away. Then the second in about two days later and another five days later and so on.
So that's what I'm going to get into more depth on with you.
At the end of this short report you'll gain more knowledge on:
*
The different types of autoresponders you can use
*
The advantages and disadvantages of each.
*
Choosing the best autoreponder that's right for you
*
My personal recommendations
Ok to start off, here are the different types of autoreponders you can use.
*
Basic autoreponder
I've briefly explained what this type of autoresponder is at the beginning of this report.
This type of autoreponder only allows you to send one autoresponded message. Meaning that if someone were to send an email to your autoresponder enabled email, they'll receive an email instantly and that's it -- no other emails following that.
This is not widely used and will not be much use for you. Why? It doesn't capture the contact's email address. You'll need to add that yourself to the system.
The advantage of the basic autoresponder is that it's quick, easy and free to setup via your web hosting control panel. Only use this if you have a special customer support email address. But be aware that it may become a disturbance to your contacts.
*
Autoresponder Software
No this isn't the autoresponder software script where you upload it to your own web host. These are actual software just like any other program which you install onto your computer.
One autoresponder software is MailListKing (maillistking.com/)
This is a great tool because it's powerful and gives the admin a lot of control over how it works.
The drawback of it is that it only runs on your computer. Which means if you were out of your home then you won't have access to your list unless you bring your computer with you. Everything is stored onto your computer. What if you wanted to send out an urgent email to your list? What do you do then?
*
Autoresponder Scripts
This is one of the main types of autoresponder's people use.
Basically you purchase an autoresponder script from somewhere like ecom24.com (the script's called Autoresponder Pro) and you upload and install it onto your own web host server.
The advantages of this type of autoresponder is that you purchase the script once off and can use it as much as you can without worrying about monthly fee's.
It's feature rich and gives you the control you need.
There are numerous issues though when you use this type of autoresponder.
If the script does not include installation then this is a problem to a novice user. They then either have to do it on their own or outsource the work.
Email deliverability is poor. Why? Because you're sending out emails from your own web hosts. So why's this a problem? It's called "blacklists". If by any chance your domain/IP is "blacklisted" then only 30% of your emails will get delivered (typical rate).
Let me explain in more detail. There are many reasons why your IP/domain is blacklisted in the first place.
You're using a shared account or reseller account.
Shared accounts are the most common types of web hosting packages you get. Did you know several other people share that same server and IP with you?
If you go to your email account such as Hotmail and Yahoo mail, you can see a special folder called "Junk Mail". Once there's enough clicks from people that treat it as "junk mail", then that IP will be considered "blacklisted".
On the other hand, if you have your own dedicated IP address then that will reduce the risk of getting your IP address blacklisted but it's still not 100% OK.
Even if you have your own dedicated server, it's very hard to get your IP "whitelisted" (the opposite of blacklisted) from majoy mail servers and ISP's such as AOL.
*
Autoresponder Services
These types of autoresponder's are services such as EmailAces, Aweber & GetResponse.
You basically pay a subscription fee to use their autoresponder. They maintain and service everything for you.
These companies are dedicated to getting your emails delivered, unlike autoresponder scripts. They do the hard work for you and get as much as 99.4% of your emails delivered to your list. That's exactly what you want.
There's no software or scripts to install. The only hard part is actually setting up the autoresponder which is simple. Create a new account > Name it > Email address > Generate HTML form code. Easy.
The only bad thing about it is that if you want to broadcast an email to your list now then it is placed in a que. A que of other member's emails. It could take half an hour, an hour and sometimes even two hours depending on the load.
It's not as feature-rich as autoreponder scripts and doesn't give you as much control as the scripts.
OK. So those are the four types of autoresponders.
So which one's right for you?
It depends on what type of business you're in. If you're in the Internet Marketing field then cross off the first two types of autoresponder (Basic & Software).
You need a sequential autoresponder. Period. You'll know why in the next few parts of this email marketing series.
Here's my personal recommendation.
If you want to get your emails delivered & don't want to waste time then I'd go straight to Autoresponder services. No doubt about it. It's what I'm using at the moment and believe me, I've tried many autoresponder scripts which ended up in tragedy and horrow. Less than 30% of my emails were delivered. I kept getting emails saying that my email's "bounced". Which of course means that it's blacklisted.
I switched over to Aweber straight away and now I'm getting so much more responses than ever before.
Aweber allows you to backup your list and actually download the list of subscribers to your computer.
EmailAces on the other hand, is owned by Gary Ambrose. He's a well known Internet Marketer and specialises in Email Deliverability. Why's this so great? He understands Internet marketing so he's created an autoresponder that's made exactly for that. He makes sure that your emails get across to your subscribers almost 100% of the time.
If you're on a budget and don't have money for a subscription based autoresponder then you can use autoresponder scripts. But only temporarily. I want to emphasise that. Because once your list(s) grows bigger, you'll find that you're database starts to slow down because of the number of subscribers you have and also email deliverability once again.
If you don't want to waste time installing and maintaining your own autoresponder, I'd highly recommend you go for autoresponder services. Aweber to be precise.
Aweber is responsible for making me over six figures so far this year and I stand by it 100%.

How To Create A Killer Opt-in Page In 10 Short & Simple Steps
There are many ways of getting subscribers. If you want to get people to opt-in to your list without hesitation then you need, what we call, a name squeeze page.
Basically a name squeeze page forces the reader to opt-in to "find out more". Find out more about the product, receive a report, a download or whatever.
But, you need to do it the "special way". I've seen so many people do it incorrectly which caused them to only get a 1-2% conversion rate. Which is about one opt-in per 100 visits.
What I'm about to reveal to you will explode your opt-ins by 200%, 300% or even 400%!
This secrets I'm about to reveal to you has been proven to work. If you know how to follow simple step-by-step instructions, then this will be too easy for you.
So without further ado, here it is...
Step 1. Load up your HTML editor.
You may use programs like Office Frontpage, Macromedia Dreamweaver or CoffeeCup HTML Editor available free at http://www.download.com
Step 2. Insert a new table - about 600 pixels wide.
Step 3. Add your attention grabbing headline.
Your headline should have the following characteristics:
*
At the start and end of the heading it should have quotes (" ")
*
Red in color.
*
18-24 pts in size.
Step 4. Add your bold sub-heading.
Your sub-heading should have the following characteristics:
*
Dark blue in color.
*
14 pts in size
Step 5. Add a short introduction (a paragraph or two).
You must make the paragraph dramatic. Make the reader feel the pain or desire if they did or didn't have this problem.
Step 6. Add 5-7 short, sharp, bold & salivating bullet points
about what your reader will discover after they opt-in to see your sales letter/download your report.
Step 7. Add your call to action.
Now your reader wants to know what to do next.
This is where you tell them to fill in their first name and primary email address.
Step 8. Copy & Paste the opt-in form.
Go to your autoresponder service/software and copy & paste the HTML code for the subscription box underneath your "call to action".
Also add a note that their email is kept private and will never be used for spam.
Step 9. Upload your name squeeze page files to your web host server
Step 10. Watch your opt-ins soar!
Follow these 10 easy steps and you'll see a big difference in the number of subscribers you receive.

How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action. Part 2
I'll teach how you to personally achieve those results. Getting your subscribers to click through and read your email is not just enough. Its good if they have a hint, which draws them in. But nothing, and I repeat nothing, sells faster and makes more impact than a "How I Did It" story.
Have you ever done something and had people asking you how you did it? This does not mean that you have to cook up a story. If you have not achieved those results, then in my opinion, do not bother to teach it. It would simply portray you as someone who does not "walk the talk". If you absolutely have to do it, get someone who has done it themselves. Interview him and either get it transcribed into a PDF format or let subscribers download the call in mp3 format or on their IPods.
This simple procedure instills in your subscribers the confidence that if you can do it, they can too. Nothing speaks better than personal results. It works like magic. Because people are always asking questions like, "How did you make so many sales? How did you lose so much weight? How did you learn how to speak so well in public? How did you get to achieve so much in such a short period?"
You see, that's why books and reports depicting "How I did so and so" sell like crazy. People want to tap from the direct knowledge source and experience. There is the assurance that the learning curve is faster and the mistakes can be avoided. If you've read Marlon Sander's book on how she grossed over $500,000 in a year, you'll see a typical example of this concept put to work. The reason her e-book sold was because of the first-hand experience and knowledge she was promising to give out.
Everyone desires results. That is why titles like "How I lost 20kg in 3 months", "How I made $15,000 in 25 days", "How I learned public speaking in 3 months" etc. will always be bestsellers and attention-grabbers. Everyone wants to not only hear success stories, but to see how it can be applied to their lives.
At least you can see that I really practice what I teach because you are still here. The title I used is what drew you in and is still what is keeping you reading. Learn how to use the power of personal experiences. If you do not have any, go get an experience or invite someone who has an experience to share it with you. Then share it with your subscribers. I have seen this particular method work like crazy and draw in so many sales.
In the last and final part, you'll find the last straw that will get you floods of sales and responses from your email marketing campaigns.
Remember today's lesson: Teach how you personally achieved results.

Simple Yet Effective List Building Strategies For Any 'Joe Blow
You'll gain more knowledge to:
*
Start your own list from scratch.
*
Grow your list. and;
*
Profit from your own list.
In this first part (Part 1), I'll give you an introduction on list building & how valuable having your own list is worth.
If you're SERIOUS about making money online then you need to do build your business the right way.
If you want to make $100,000 overnight then this newsletter isn't for you.
If you want to make money online the right way, then you need to treat your business as a business (if you haven't done so). Let me say that again - You need to treat your business as a business. Just like a brick & mortar business, it requires a lot of time, effort and persistence to start noticing results. Take advantage of using the Internet for making money - It doesn't require a lot of investment, not as risky and so many other reasons.
Now, back to list building...
Can I ramble on about how valuable having your own list is?
*
You can almost write your own pay checks
simply by sending off a promotion or offer to your list. The amount you get depends on numerous reasons such as offer, price, benefits & more. I remember when I wanted a new computer, all I did was send off an email to my list of only 233 (way back) about a great product, woke up the next day to find over $700 worth of orders. The great thing was that the product wasn't even mine, it only took me less than 15 minutes to write a solo email to send off to my list and a few seconds to click the "Submit button" using my autoresponder service.
*
You can build rapport, credibility & relationships
Once you have targeted people on your list you can consider yourself an expert. As long as you create value for subscribers. There's no use having your own list just to send out offer after offer. You might as well say goodbye to that list. You'll get unsubcriptions faster then you could click your mouse button.
*
You're able to do Joint-Ventures with your list
What better way than to ask your list who'd like to do a project, promotion, ad swap or whatever with your product? It's fast and easy. You don't have to hunt around the Internet to find people who are in the same niche.
*
You're able to do valuable surveys
This isn't what you think. It's not one of those people calling you up between 1-5pm about a new service that will cut your phone bills in half. That's not what I'm talking about.
What I'm talking about here is surveying so that YOU KNOW what your subscriber's want, what your subscriber's problems are and what they desire most.
This is a million-dollar marketing tool you can use at your fingertips and it's completely free!
You could offer them an incentive for answering your survey.
Here's a great template you could use as a survey:
"What is your biggest problem about list-building?"
Simple fill in the gaps: "What is your biggest problem about _______________?"
You'll get a ton of responses and these responses are your "answers" to creating your next product. It could be an ebook, a report, an article or even a home-study course!
Can you see how powerful it is now?
I could go on for days & weeks about how having your own list is a goldmine.
So what's my point here? I don't want to "show-off" that I made "this & that" amount of money with my list, I want to show you the true potential of having your own list and how any Joe Blow could do it. Everyone starts from zero just like I did.
So in the next few weeks you'll discover my strategies for building a list. Not just a list, but a targeted & responsive list.
You'll start seeing results once you've gone through and take action on my tips and strategies.
I want to conclude Part 1 of the "Unstoppable List Building Secrets" series by saying this - If you want to build a solid income online then you need to get serious. STOP buying those "get-rich-quick schemes" that claim they can make you this & that amount of money in less time. Here's a rule of thumb - If it sounds too darn good to be true then it is. I've fallen for many of these and I can smell them from 10 miles away.
To be continued....
