What Australian novels do you like?

    Can someone please find me a place in a nursing home. Temple, with "Truth" won the Miles Franklin this year, not last. My security word contains goof in it. Very apt.

    I should include the Ned Kelly crime fiction award. I didn't know it existed.

    Some are saying very eloquently that Peter Temple's "Truth" is a pile of rubbish. But I think you are right.

    The last winner, Peter Temple, was a surprise to me. I know Temple through his Jack Irish novels (winners of 5 Ned Kelly Awards for crime fiction) but never saw them as being good enough for the Franklin
