2. Once you have located the rust spot, rub the affected part with alcohol. Scare the rust with a wire brush or a course sand paper.
3. Keep on scarping the rusted parts until you come up with a clear and smooth surface. Apply a rust removing solvent and wipe it off with a rag until there are not traces of rust particles to be found on the spot.
4. Before applying filler or paint, it is highly suggested that you need to cover the unaffected parts first. With the use of a painter tape, you can easily do this procedure.
5. Remember that in the application of filler, you have to make sure that it should be of the same levels of the unaffected spots. Allow the filler to dry.
After you have cleaned all the rusts off your car, treated the metal, filled the impactions, and primed the car, the next step is to paint. Make sure that the paint color matches the original color of your car.
