1- When you go online and find your site get multiple quotes, at least five. If you fill out five and there isn't a substantial difference in any quote then you might want to stick with the lowest of those five. If you fill out more then there could possibly be a cheaper quote but the first ones you give you a nice idea of what your payments should be.

2- If you have more then two cars ask about multiple car discounts. Some companies do it, in fact most do, it just depends on the type of cars.

Now back to the main tip, finding a good website. Your quote website should give the ability to find multiple companies at the same time by using your state or zip code. If you don't know of such a site check out mine.
