CPS abusing Families in Texas

Five years ago I took my son's children away from his soon to be ex due to drug use in her home. From that point she vowed she would make his life a living hell and literally vowed to call CPS as much as she could get away with to show him she could cause him pain too. Why? This woman is a horrible example of a mother. Cares more about the fact that she ran my son off by going off into a lesbian relationship and now doesn't "have" him rather than caring and thinking about what re-actions her actions have on her children. Not too mention the stress it causes my son due to dealing with a corrupt CPS system in Texas. Continually calling him, CPS has lied to all of us. We've caught them in several illegal actions and yet continually tell us we don't have rights. Only they are wrong. We have found by standing our ground, fighting using our rights and playing it smarter than your average bear they do back down. Amazingly enough when we've suggested they take a look at the girls' mother they say they can't (and only because she's been the caller). Isn't that amazing. Yet she can take the girls out in the hot Texas sun for over 2 hours with no sun screen on then call CPS on him. Why? What allegation did she make? That he has put them in harm's way. Only because they were with her! Court ordered. They are currently working a case against her to obtain supervised visitation only and then hopefully her rights terminated. She's a horrible parent, has never worked to provide anything for her children and continues to use what little brain she has to further confuse their oldest daughter. It pains me to see the effect she has on them, yet CPS will not do anything to her. She's not the custodial parent, my son is. She even has a welfare fraud case pending but are they concerned, no. She's not the custodial parent. This psycho nut and her family even called CPS on me, their gramma 43 times in one week! I can say this, CPS called me to let me know and only required one visit to my home to make sure the girls were in fact being taken care of. I scheduled the visit and made sure the girls were in daycare when they arrived. I didn't want them exposed anymore than possibly to the lies and deciet CPS conveniently provides to the families they destroy so easily. Case worker did close all 43 cases when she saw my immaculate house and the girls princess room to where she even noted "Was worthy of any princess" in her notebook.

Now that sparks yet another controversial subject! We were told under no circumstances were we allowed to record. It's not in the policies and procedures. Well it is ours! My son told them if he wasn't allowed to video any interviews they weren't allowed to write notes. All forms of recording yet only CPS was allowed to use it? It's a battle we will continue to fight until somehow she can be stopped. I was told to contact the District Attorney and file a complaint against her and they would investigate. I just wonder if they really would. Seems the system is against families really trying to make it and especially against fathers who win custody.
