Contributing to an Enlightened Planetary Civilization®
Seven years ago, I began an incredible journey with the Avatar materials. I was not feeling fulfilled in my life and had many areas where I was experiencing struggle and stress. I wanted my life to feel more peaceful, complete and happy. When I first read the Avatar journal, I knew that I was going to do the Avatar Course. I wasn't sure about when and how, but I knew without a shadow of a doubt, that it was going to happen. It did.
In "The Avatar Master's Handbook," Harry Palmer says that "Self-realization is knowing that you are, and operating as, the sovereign lord and creator of your universe... Avatar is not solely a spiritual message. It is the tools for learning to operate as a spirit." What an incredible gift to give to ourselves. For me, this is the essence of living deliberately.
The beauty of my adventure keeps getting richer and more expansive. I feel inspired to share what I have learned with those who are ready and willing to embrace Avatar, to live deliberately and create the life that they truly deserve.

Compassion Exercise
This is one of thirty exercises in "ReSurfacing® Techniques for Exploring Consciousness" by Harry Palmer)
COMPASSION EXERCISEHonesty with yourself leads to compassion for others
OBJECTIVE: To increase the amount of compassion in
the world.
EXPECTED RESULTS: A personal sense of peace.
INSTRUCTIONS
This exercise can be done anywhere that people congregate (airports, malls, parks, beaches, etc.). It should be done on strangers, unobtrusively, from some distance. Try to do all five steps on the same person.
Step 1 With attention on the person, repeat to yourself: "Just like me, this person is seeking some happiness for his/her life."
Step 2 With attention on the person, repeat to yourself: "Just like me, this person is trying to avoid suffering in his/her life."
Step 3 With attention on the person, repeat to yourself: "Just like me, this person has known sadness, loneliness, and despair."
Step 4 With attention on the person, repeat to yourself: "Just like me, this person is seeking to fulfill his/her needs."
Step 5 With attention on the person, repeat to yourself: "Just like me, this person is learning about life."
Love is an expression of the willingness to create space in which something is allowed to change.

Call Of The Heart
I choose to let go. A sigh of relief. My knuckles burn. It is time for a rest. It has been such hard work to hold on for dear life.It's time to let go. I don't want winners and losers. I want winners and winners.
I feel myself vibrate back and forth.
I choose to let go. Tears fill my yes. Sweet relief. The struggle drops away like a well worn skin and I am here. Standing before You.
Love in my eyes and I am filled with something that feels like yearning. But there is a softness to my gaze and a gentle innocence in my vibe.
"Lord, I am here."
The weight of a thousand lifetimes dissolves and peace is my home.
I choose to let go and there is no question about what surrender is. Sweet surrender is all that I am and I am heart to heart with the Divine. A quiet, resonant throb and my soul cracks right open, spilling everything and leaving me bare before my Maker.
"I am here and I am ready."
Every part of me is called to attention. I feel a sense of alertness and presence that is so distinct. Every part of me is down front and center, poised in the doorway.
I choose to let go. Waves of love and appreciation glide over all that has gone before and it is no more. Its relevance is outdated for I stand cloaked in the arms of my lover and we are eternally One.

I hardly know where to start! I know I can do anything: a feeling that has both pride and humility as its parts. Sunday evening: Day 9
We are now in the final hours of the most incredible turning point in my life. I'd never have imagined this course to offer so many lessons on such a broad and deep level. At several points I felt such an urge to run away like a frightened being, but something underneath it all insisted that I stay and face my fears. And now I know I can and will rise to the occasion. I am here to create an Enlightened planetary Civilization, and I'll do whatever it takes.

At the beginning of this course I had the belief: "I don't smile - my face is not made that way." NOW smiling is the most natural thing in the universe! But it comes from within - it is really me.
