Slavko AVSENIK - Here I would like to say something more about a very special man named Slavko AVSENIK. He is an icon Slovenian folk music. He is our legend with huge achievements in music. Delayed by almost the whole world, few people had ever heard his famous poem entitled Na Golico. In Slovenia, with the saying "It is not without Golica celebrations.
For all of its merits it deserves to be a bit better presented.
And that's my goal today.

About Slavko AVSENIK
Slavko Avsenik was born as the youngest child in family, on 26. 11.1929 . In 1936 his father decided to take his children set up their own family band and Slavko is in it playing button accordion.After primary school he stayed at home on the farm, and sometimes it's something played on his accordion.
The next year he attended a radio audition at Radio Ljubljana, where he was adopted.
When he was in an audition at Radio Ljubljana adopted, the first played the accordion as a soloist, and later drew up a group called Gorenjski Kvintet and abroad competed under the name Oberkrainer Quintett.
Music played by Slavko Avsenik wrote himself along with his brother. They joined the already ponarodele and many other artists have played in various adaptations. Chopin ensemble has won in 40 years, 31 gold, one platinum and one diamond plate
