A Little About Us
We are a small "Mom and Pop" operation and we have been in business since 1983, operating as Katick Supplies. By the way, Katick is a portmanteau formed from Kathy and Rick. We operate our website and online stores under A Well Dressed Bullet. Face it, our business name Katick Supplies is easily forgotten and often misspelled.
We have been happily married for 30 years and live in the small community of Spanish, Ontario, on the North Channel of Lake Huron. In 2001, we got a little tired of retirement, but we did not want to start another retail store and the internet suited our needs perfectly. Rick always enjoyed making his Bullet Pens and we thought the internet would be a great way to sell them. We knew this would be so different from operating a retail store which we closed when we retired in 1992. We had to learn all about computers, e-commerce, the new lingo, website designing and html and after four months figured it all out, well almost, and we created our website and started selling our Authentic Bullet Pens on-line in August 2001.
We make a great team. Rick being the artistic and production side, thinks up, designs and manufactures our products. Kathy, that's me, is the administrative side and webmaster, I run the office, make sure the orders get to our customers, that all the figures add up and maintain our website and online stores.
We both share the housework and grab meals when we can. Read more....

dollars How to Care for Your Well Dressed Bullets
BRASS PRODUCTSWe recommend using Nevr-Dull Magic Wadding Polish which consists of a unique non-scratching wadding impregnated with a special polishing solution. It is perfect for cleaning and polishing brass and safely removes tarnish and fingerprints.
Give brass cases a wipe afterwards with a cloth, lightly sprayed with a lubricant, such as WD-40, to remove any excess Nevr-Dull and to give it a nice shine.
NICKEL PRODUCTS
There is very little cleaning required, the advantage of nickel products. You may wish to touch them up by lightly spray a soft cloth with a lubricant, such as WD-40, and wiping the cases gently. This will remove any dirt and give them a nice shine.
Please note that excessive cleaning (rubbing) of nickel cases can remove the nickel finish.
SHOTGUN SHELL PRODUCTS
We recommend using Nevr-Dull on the brass ends and then lightly spraying a soft cloth with a lubricant, such as WD-40, and wiping the hulls gently to give them a nice shine and the brass ends to remove any excess Nevr-Dull.
BOLO TIE CORDS
We recommend gently wiping cord by hand with a clean damp cloth and to keep the cord fresh smelling, lightly spray the cord with Febreze Fabric Refresher.
HOW TO STORE A BOLO TIE
The best way to store your Bolo Tie is by hanging it on a tie rack, over a peg, or by laying it out straight and flat on a clean surface. The cords usually always have a "memory" and will look best if stored in a nicely aligned position rather than curled up. When you first receive your Bolo Tie, as it has been folded in its package, the cord will have retained a folded memory. Immediately remove your Bolo Tie from the package and hang it up straight.

April 2004 Issue
We were so surprised, and kinda proud, when Dan (writer) from the head office of Maxim Magazine in New York City contacted us in 2004.
Dan, working on a story for military gear converted into various gadgets, was browsing the internet and found our website, intrigued with our Shotgun Shell Bar & Party Lights.
Ok, I have to admit, when his email first came in, I ignored it. Imagine my surprise when he called several days later. I was sure it was some sort of scam. I'm so glad I didn't hang up on him! Needless to say, our website received some great exposure.
