How He Saved Me From Death!

20 years ago, when I was 17, I committed suicide by overdosing on bottles of medications (prescriptions, OTCs, and expired ones too). I had a fight with my mother then. I felt like I was the most pitiful and insignificant being -- lower than the worms. Prior to committing suicide, I cried out (out desperation) "Jesus help me!" I didn't know who Jesus but I've heard about Him.

After swollowing couple handful of pills (of different kinds), I felt my head spinning. I saw this gyro spinning and I was sucked into its center. Then I found myself walking through a dark tunnel.

Then I found myself alone in an abandoned town. My clothes wear torn ragged. I looked very pitiful. I was very confused as to where I was. I kept walking, hoping that I'd meet someone. But I didn't ... at least not there.

Then I found myself on top of highest peak of the tallest mountain. There is the absence of space, time, matter, everything that is essential to our reality. I was alone... for little bit until I this eerie mist crept passed me. It gradually grew thicker, then as in the same way as it appeared, it gradually disappeared.

Then I noticed that to my left there were figures from a far distance below came toward me. There was a rider on a black horse with fiery blood red eyes. The rider wore a cape which had a hood and the hood covered his head. He carried a flag with his left hand. Following him were skeleton armies and they carried swords and shields. They weren't riding on anything.

As they approached me, I noticed that in contrast to his muscular physique body, the rider's face was a skull with fiery blood red eyes (just like his horse's). There were writing on the flag which read, "sorrow, death, war, pain, grief ...." -- all that depicted sufferings.

They surrounded me. The rider on the black horse said, "We will take you."

I was scared. I didn't know how to answer. I didn't wanted to die, I just wanted my mom to love me.

But before I had a chance to respond... I heard from above these authoritive words, "NO. You will not take her." The voice was thunderous and to be feared, yet so gentle and loving.

We all looked up. Above to my right, the emptiness opened up and this bright light gradually shone brighter until there was no longer this void (of empty space).

I saw the most beautiful face of a man. He looked like a man, but too beautiful to be. I knew, that I was in the presence of a Godly King our Lord Jesus (although, I knew very little about Him then). He wore a white robe with gold trimmings. He rode upon a white horse. With His right hand he carried a flag, which reads, "Love, Peace, Forgiveness, Hope,..." -- just the opposite of the dark rider's.

There were angels behind Him. Some were singing, while others were playing musical instruments.

Jesus descented from Heaven towards us victoriously, as if He had just won the battle (before it even began). I sense there was fear from the dark rider as Jesus approached. The dark rider parted to my left, making way on my right for the Lord and His angels.

Although, the dark rider feared the Lord, he wasn't about to give up. He said, "We will fight for her." And the Lord replied, "Fight, we will."

And they fought for me. Yes, for insignificant me. All I could think about was getting hurt during the battle. I was in the center (literally) of the battleground. I was afraid of getting trampled or stabbed. I really, didn't want to die. So, I closed my eyes, with my head down an arms around my knees, I pretended that I was 7 again, running through a field of tall wild flowers. And then I pretended I was on a beach and pretended that the only sound I heard were the splashing waves.

Then suddenly... I felt someone touched my right shoulder. I looked up. I saw the face of the most forgiving, non-judging being (Jesus). I did not sense any condemnation, but rather, on his face was a look that told me that He knew everything about me. Then he said, "You are saved." He said it a second time, "You are saved."

Then finally a third time, "You are saved." ... I found myself laying next to the washing machine in the washroom. I could not help but smiled that someone loved me enough to leave the Heavens and fight for me, so I must be special.

That was 20 years ago. I'd heard about Jesus but never knew who He was until 4 years ago, when I decided to welcomed Him into my life. I never knew that Jesus and God think as one. When I heard God spoke, I couldn't figure out why Jesus was present.

God has shown me how awesome He is in soo many ways, including supernaturally, even to this day.

Our God is an awesome God.
