Axial XR10

Competition Crawler

XR10

* Complete "no-compromise" competition ready kit

* 37.9:1 gear ratio using the included 14T pinion. Gearbox allows for use of 12-19T pinions for gear ratios ranging from 44.2:1 through 27.9:1.
* Dual motors allow you to easily adjust your front and rear gear ratios independently.
* Compact and lightweight gearboxes keep the motor positioned closer to the axle housing and above the axle centerline for extra clearance.
* Aluminum chassis plates with durable composite plastic skid plate.
* Chassis provides multiple upper link adjustment holes for suspension tuning and adjusting anti-squat.
* Adjustable upper shock mounts included for fine tuning ride height and can be catered to your own personal driving style.
* Adjustable body mounts provide finite adjustments for different angles and heights.
* Removable electronics tray for easy maintenance and installation
* Enclosed receiver box with wire routing guides for cleaner electronic routing/configuration.
* Multiple ESC mounting plates and configurations
* Low profile battery mount places the weight of the battery at a lower position in the vehicle to help lower the center of gravity.
* Oversized rod ends with large 7mm aluminum links and durable composite plastic sleeves (replaceable).
* Light durable composite plastic upper links also aid in lowering the center of gravity.
* Full ball bearings (oversized differential bearings)
* Differentials: locked (spool)

Axle Design

# All new front and rear specific strong durable composite plastic, lightweight axles.

* Low profile axle housing design for maximum ground clearance.
* Front steering axle with the ability to rotate (clock) the motor up/down.

X10 Scorpion

ARTR (Almost Ready-to-Run)

The ARTR was designed from the ground up, and every detail was thought through to provide a competition level base kit to work with. Previously the only way to build a competition capable rock crawler was to buy bits and pieces of several different kits here'n'there. This long and sometimes frustrating process could take as long as several months just to get the right parts together before you could even start the build. Now you can get a factory built rolling chassis, and within approximately an hours build-time you'll be able to hit the rocks with your competition ready AX10 Scorpion rock crawler.

The axles have been designed with many features that are not available from other products on the market. Everything from the axle strength, pinion angle, caster, and ground clearance were taken into consideration when designing these axles. The result is a far superior axle that will stand-up to some severe punishment. To ensure added longevity from the start a hi-tolerance sintered diff locker is included along with hardened drive shafts.

No crawler would be complete without the essentials, and the AX10 Scorpion is outfitted with the popular 2.2 8 hole beadlocks sporting orange rock rings, and the Pro-Line Hammer tires.

The 2.2 8 hole beadlocks not only looks great but were engineered to meet the needs of competitive rock crawling. Designed to fit most of the competitive tires available on the market, they are true beadlocks and require no gluing. Made from strong composite materials to keep the weight low while still adding strength where needed.

The Pro-Line Hammer%u2122 tires were inspired by The Sledgehammer and Jackhammer trails located near Johnson Valley, California. These are some of the most brutal trails known to crawlers around the country, and the need for the right equipment is crucial for getting through the trails successfully. Knowing the needs of competitive R/C rock crawling, Pro-Line M2 Hammer%u2122 tires were chosen because of their super soft compound and tread design.

AX10 Rock Crawl Racer

RTR ( Ready-to-Run)

Going Places Where Others Can't.

Hi-quality durable composite plastic and metals are used to take on the punishment of rock crawling and all out bashing!
Lightweight 2.5mm aluminum side-plates provide a super stiff and durable chassis.
Solid Axles that feature improved driveshaft angle, castor, and class leading steering throw.
80-125mm shocks for super articulation. Titanium nitride coated shock shafts for smooth operation.
Molded skid plate with radius edges prevent hang-ups. Directional grooves assist in straight-line stability.
Hi-torque servo built for rock crawling punishment. Capable of handling larger tires and helps hold your line when rock crawling.

1. Rock Racer
1. Configured out of the box as a Rock Racer (20t pinion gear): Charge the terrain at full speed.
2. Rock Crawler
14t Pinion and Front Differential Locker

2. Slow things down and methodically attack the rocks in Rock Crawler mode. Install the included 14t pinion gear (PT# AX30572) and differential locker (PT# AX30500).

AX10

RTC ( Ready-to-Crawl)

Based upon the award winning AX10 Scorpion KIT*. The AX10 Scorpion RTC comes "Ready-to-Crawl". The RTC is currently the only 2.2 (most popular scale/class) rock crawler on the market that only requires batteries, and is ready to hit the terrain.

* DID YOU KNOW? The Axial transmission is one of the most highly respected and sought after components from our AX10 Scorpion line-up because of it's proven durability and low center-of-gravity (COG).
* Overall gear ratio range from 15:1 to 74:1: Spur gear and pinion gear is changeable. Allows for tuneable wheel speed.
Designed for Punishment: Durable composite plastic links are designed to absorb and flex under extreme conditions. Flexing helps to take the punishment of repeated falls onto even the rockiest of terrain.

* Plastic links not only withstand the abuse received from unforgiving terrain and hard binds, but they also provide your crawler improved ability to slide over obstacles vs. getting hung-up on them - one of the main reasons why the top chassis skid plates are made of composite plastics.
* New geometry options/tunability.
* OPTION PART: If you're looking to switch to aluminum, you'll need the AX10 Scorpion Color Packs which are available in 4 colors. This kit requires AXA1411 hardware pack.

SCX10

KIT

The new Axial SCX10 is the kit to have when it comes to building a scale working replica of your favorite old truck. Features like a true C-channel ladder frame, with bolt on shock hoops, custom styled skid plate and double spring oil filled shocks are just a few of the items that sets this kit apart.

The latest SCX is inspired by off-road vehicles that are basically part truck and part buggy, nicknamed "truggies". The new Axial SCX10 is the kit to have when it comes to having a realistic looking truggy. Scale features such as the steel c-channel ladder frame, plastic molded cage, and plastic front bumper with aluminum skid plates are included in this kit. These are just a few of the features that set this kit apart.

The SCX10 was designed to resemble its full sized "scale/1:1" counterparts, yet is still able to perform and crawl like a 2.2 AX10 Scorpion competition crawler. Unlike the AX10 which is purely competition driven, the SCX10 doesn't compromise its look for pure performance although the SCX10 is a more than capable trail rig on or off the trails.

SCX10vs. AX10 SCORPION

The SCX10 uses the same ultra durable transmission and axles as the AX10 Scorpion , but is built around a more realistic or "scale" frame. It also runs smaller more realistic looking wheels and tires. These trucks are designed to have fun with, especially if you have a few friends that have scale rigs. Getting a few guys together and going out for a scale trail run is one of the best things you can do if you're an avid off-roading enthusiast.
