Babies In Need - Making a Difference For Babies That Need Help

So many times, we hear people imply that because we are older, we have no purpose, ambition, or drive.

That isn't so!

The Gifts For a Precious Life group is a group made mostly of people in their 80's and 90's who get together to knit and crochet handmade items to donate to babies in need at local hospitals. We have given many, many blankets, hats, outfits, and baby booties to babies who may otherwise not have much in the way of soft and warm baby items. We help unwed mothers who decide to keep their babies and pray for paralyzed Veterans every Friday during our Prayer Group.

The money we use to purchase supplies comes from our own pockets. Most of us have only our Social Security Pensions to live on!

Will you please help us attain our goals of helping more children, more babies in need?

Each dollar, each skein of yarn, goes directly to one of our group who will create a beautiful baby item to gift a baby who needs it. NONE of this money or any items of yarn gifted to us will go anywhere else. We promise you that.

Here is an assortment of knitted hats that our group was able to donate to babies in need just a while back.

Not only is it remarkable that this group of 80 and 90 year old people get together to knit and crochet these baby items, but they do it while they are living almost solely on their Social Security Pensions! Now you know how little those can be for our more seasoned people!

These Gifts For A Precious Life seniors use the money from their own meager pockets to purchase yarn and supplies for those in need, spend their precious time and labor to create beautiful blankets and clothing items, and then give them away to those with less than they.

If only there were more people like this special group, the world might be a better place to live in!
