Babies Nasal Aspirators: Baby Vac

A Running Nose?
Do you hate this feeling? Well babies hate it even more!
While it feels pretty unpleasant to us, babies can't figure out how to get the nose fluids out of the nose. They have difficulty breathing, besides they let them get into their throats, begin coughing and develop different infections (based on my humble mothering experience).
Besides being enormously unpleasant, running or stuffed nose is also the hardest thing to cure in a baby. You can't tell them to blow it, and even if they could understand I doubt if they would have the strength to do it properly.
Here's why having a nasal aspirator is critical to any parent of small kids.

Nose Blowing: How To Do It Properly
In cases when your baby's nose gets obstructed and makes it impossible to breathe for the baby, you should do three things:First of all, flush the nose with a solution of salt and water(physiological solution is another name for it). There are also some commercial products which also might be useful.
Second, suck out the mucus from the baby's nose.
And finally, clean the nose with a handkerchief.

The Aspirators I've Used
The vacuum aspirators are the most accessible ones on the market. Of course there are electric aspirators too which are a bit more comfortable but become useless as the baby grows up.
The first one was Nuby's vacuum nasal aspirator.
It was comfortable, easy to use and clean for me. It has a silicone end which is tender and secure to use for the baby's fragile nostrils. But to my daughter it was a terrible experience and she cried and resisted it with all her energy.
Few years later I found the aspirators which allow the parent to suck out the mucus from the nose of the child. This one caused my daughter even less stress and inconvenience. It has one end to get into the child's nose and another to suck with your lips. There is a container which gathers the mucus and is disposed and washed after use.
