Baby Boy 1st Birthday Party Supplies

The First Birthday Is The Most Important

Every one of your child's birthdays is important but none more so than his first.

That 1st Birthday Party is typically a really big party. The whole family's invited, you have a special cake for the baby, you have decorations and presents...

And dozens and dozens of pictures!

As your child grows older you'll find all kinds of birthday party themes you can use - pirates and race cars and dinosaurs.

But for his 1st Birthday the best theme to choose is to simply focus on the color blue and the Number 1. Remember, you child is only one year old. He's not going to remember a single thing that happens at his party. Not one! Ever!

Save all the hullabaloo for when he's a little older and he can appreciate it. Your baby boy's 1st birthday is really for you and your family and friends.

You're going to be busy enough as it is, getting everyone invited and finding just the right cake, and preparing all the food. Keep it simple for this First Birthday and just enjoy your day!

Baby Boy's 1st Birthday High Chair Decorating Kit 2pc

This is such a fantastic idea! When my kids were little we just covered the floor with old newspapers and let them dig into their cake.

But with this kit, everything looks so cute and festive! This makes for a much more memorable First Birthday Picture!

Planning Your Baby Boy's 1st Birthday Party

There really is no right or wrong way to host a 1st Birthday Party but most people like to keep them low-key, involving just the immediate family and maybe just a few close friends.

Some etiquette experts will tell you that it's not appropriate to go all out and rent a big hall, hire a band, and invite hundreds of guests. However, this is the 21st Century and most people don't pay attention to etiquette experts any more!

Remember, though, your child isn't going to remember anything that happens at this party. And you'll have plenty of opportunity in the future to throw a big, elaborate party.

One tradition that still stands is the Baby Cake and you can even still order Baby Cakes at some bakeries.

It's typically just a small cake or cupcake with lots and lots of icing for the baby to play in and make a huge mess but it's a lot of fun for everyone!

This first birthday is a special milestone for your little family. So do whatever you want to make the day a happy one for everyone.
