Shoes for Your Baby Girl

Thank you for your visit. I believe you are here because you are looking for shoes that will fit your baby girl. That is fantastic. I built this lens just for you. Lets face it, shoes for a baby is more for the parents than it is for the baby. Babies have no real use for shoes. They are not going to be walking for a while making shoes more of a fashion statement.

When your baby girl does get old enough to walk in shoes, she is most likely a toddler and not a baby any more. What I am going to do in this lens is go over some of my favorite baby shoes. You can take a look at some of them and let me know which ones you like the best.

Your Basic Baby Girl Shoe

Great for little Girls You Don't Know Well

Let's get started with the basic shoe. You will have many of these in your baby's collection. She will have a pair that is a match for every outfit she owns. I can see it now, Mom is starting the shoe fetish early; a collection that could rival Lindsey Lohan.

What to look for in Baby Girls Shoes?

Several Important Things When Shopping

There are several things I think you should keep in mind when you are picking out a new pair of shoes for your little girl.Lets take a moment to take a look at a few of these aspects:

Color: While pink is the traditional color for a baby girl, it is not the only color out there. The reason most people pick pink as a color is to make it easier for other people to know the gender of your baby. Sometimes it is hard to tell without the color coding. Other colors you can choose could be yellow, green and purple. Of course your baby girl would look great in any color.

Size: I always buy shoes 2 sizes too big. The kids seem to outgrow them before they can put any kind of wear on them. To make the shoes fit better when they are too big, I shove a sock or paper towel into the toe of the shoe till they can grow into them. When you are fitting them, make sure they don't look like clown shoes.

Durability: Before your child can walk, the durability of the shoes are not extremely important. It is when they start to walk that you need to start thinking about who makes the strongest shoe. You want something that is going to last till they can't fit into them anymore. When looking, pull at the seams and make sure there are not any broken seams or glue seals. If the shoe is sound and you like the fashion statement, go ahead and make the purchase.

Teach Your Baby to Walk

So She Can Use All Those Shoes

If you want a practical reason to buy your child more shoes, you should teach her how to walk. The sooner she learns, the sooner she can start putting miles on her new shoes. The sooner she will be able to put shoes to a practical use.
