Leaping into Baby Names
How do you choose baby names from the thousands of names available? A name is a choice that lasts a lifetime. It's a very personal choice that needs to feel right, sound right in combination with your family name, and it's got to grow on you. Will you choose from something more traditional or something that's trendy at the moment? Exactly how many people are going for the same name? Will you vary the spelling? How good do those initials look? And what will the in-laws say? Welcome to Leaping into Baby Names.

Top 10 Baby Names
See the Baby Name Guide - Daily Top 10 List of Baby Names. From the Top 10 list you'll see their Top 10 suggestions, category of name, gender, the meaning of the baby names, origin, and a function to add the name to your favourites. Of the list I'm looking at this July 27 2010, I see the top three names are all male Irish names: Regan, Kelly, and Brady. I guess at a stretch you can even use these names on girls. Piper, the 4th name is all-American. Next Ulriah, Alex, and Beau all apparently are American though they don't really seem to be, so I assume Australian's would be relieved if they intend to use those names. Last three names open up with Italian names. Now that's an interesting development I'd like to see more of.
