One mode allows your baby's movements to control the music and lights and teaches cause and effect.
Another mode plays upbeat, catchy music for 20 minutes.

- Do you know how to change the batteries out in this? My baby got it as a hand-me-down and loves it, but we don't know how to put in new batteries.

- Slide the giraffe up - - the battery compartment is in there. Then unscrew the cover, replace the batteries and slide the giraffe back down. Let me know if it works for you.

- Thanks! Most people say I look young and can't believe I'm a Grandma! I went to the doctor with my daughter and my grandson, Carter, last week. I was holding Carter and someone said, "Oh, your son is so cute. How old is he?" When I said that he's my grandson, the person said, "WHAT, were you TWELVE when you had your kid?" LOL.

- What a delightful Playmat for babies! I have a friend who is buying lots of things in a jungle-theme for her new granddaughter - I'll have to tell her about this one! Congrats on approaching grandma-hood - I've been one to 3 grand-boys for awhile now (ages 7, 10 and 12). You will love it!
