Babies and leaves, really, are they that different...

"Hey, you can 't come in unless you are a member of our club!"

So this lens is about plants. What they do, how to care for them, types, etc.
So this lens is about babies. Of the skin variety. What they do, how to care for them, baby types (colors, sizes...). etc.! This lens is about the differences between plants and babies. Or maybe PLANTS and BABIES just aren't all that different at all. Read on, learn, decide for yourself (or just accept my conclustion, whatever you want...). The main jist of my craziness and uncertainty (is that the right term?) here is that you should read on, that part I am certain of!

To be or not to be, that is the question. -Hamlet

Oh shut up Hamlet! Just do something!

Ok, I'm losing my mind. That's been established. That's pretty obvious! Moving on... SOOOOOO... think about that moment when you bring your new baby home! When I had my first kidoo (eek! I'm a freak!) I was so happy!!!! (: The nurses at the hospital gave me a few tips on caring for my baby. I had a carseat, I was all set to live with my new baby. Now hold up. I got home. My hubby went to work. Me and the baby were alone together. My baby was hungry. How do I go about that whole feeding them thing again? The screams and screams and screams and I'm trying to get the laundry done and, come to think of it, I'm gonna need to start dinner soon too... the nurses never quite prepared me for baby screaming + living with baby. Those are just a few examples but it was torture! It took me quite a while to figure out how to co-exist with my baby without one or both of us going nuts (well, I am nuts but I can't blame that all on my baby, hey?)
So the 2nd baby came around, he was a lot more lucky, I was already nuts so I just went through the daily motions like a zombie and sorta got through life. But the point is that when you take your baby home or when you take your plant home or, heck, when you take your baby home wrapped up in a potted plant you are going to have to learn how to take care of it/them. And how do you do that? Well, start with your baby (of the skin variety, jeez, keep up!!!!):
What does your baby need? Step one, living. No problem, right? You can have a great nursery with everything you need with links to places where you can get it:

paint in every color under the sun: blue, pink, aqua, etc. and etc.
Change tables/change cabinets
Nursery wall murals:
baby nursery rugs and many more wonderfully, fantastic baby items including baby apparel, many found at www.crib-heaven.com
Step 2: babies can be fun naked I guess? Better idea: clothe them! Let's start at the top of their head cuz I'm thinking that's a great idea. So you've got a baby.. Start with a cool hat. Your hubby's into hockey. Or, admit it mom, you're the sports nut! You won't be watching so much sports with that little one around now but that's a whole other can of worms. So, back to hats, a great site for designer baby hats.com">, or go for that are just adorable!
NEXT: : or www.dlgbabywear.com, just for a couple of examples. Baby outfits? Check it out! Baby shoes? Beat you to it! They're here!!!
Need a dress up outfit? Just one example is an awesome, adorable Now how easy was that? Dress your baby in a few easy steps! Check out www.crib-heaven.com for more!
So step 3: Fun in the sun for baby!
Take your baby to the park, the beach, whatever. Don't just sit at home with them, show off your gorgeous baby to the world! For starters, they'll need someting to take them withand I just happen to know an example of 1 great place for awesome strollers: doubles, singles, 3-wheel, 4-wheel, foldable, with accessories, more!

You think a tiny baby is too small for great sunglasses, wrong, check it out: www.cheekymonkey.com, www.babysunprotection.com, www.Amazon UK Baby, etc. Want more? Well tough! Find more for yourself! (:

And of course there are tons of more things a baby needs, diapers
sleepers
and so much more but don't take my word for it (because my thoughts are quite a bit like swiss cheese, full of holes!). Wanna check it out? Here are some great sources!
baby care books
a href=">/www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&search-alias=stripbooks&field-keywords=baby%20safety&page=1">baby safety books
books about organic baby food
how to make organic baby food/where to get it, etc.
So what are you waiting for? These are just some of the many tips about stuff that will help you with your new baby. Check it out today!
Anywho, what's all this about plants, you're saying, cuz blaireth hasn't talked about plants. Well, I'm just about to.
Oh, I just thought of it, I have an example of why babies and plants are different... sorta. I mean, I have a super awesome plant but it wouldn't survive my boys. Henceforth, I put my plant on top of the fridge to keep away from my boys (and just as an unimportant side not, I forgot about it). Forgetting a plant on top of your fridge has other repercussions but that's beside the point I'm making (or trying to make?) which is that kids/babies don't tend to go with plants because they, um, "hurt" them. Babies and plants don't mix in that way... one against.

So yeah, I've been distracted from getting to this point many times (pathetically I was the one distracting myself) but you need to know about caring for plants. Which they need.
Here are some places to get great tips for Plants (well, there's no point in giving your plants pointers, these links tell... anyhow):

Baby Nurseries

I'm SOOOO sick of shoppng all over 4 baby stuff! Well, there r some things that r just 2 unique to be sold by more than 1 unique person(take 4 example this place that sells customized baby hats, that's hard 4 just anyone to sell but then you prob.don't sell other things too).So I found a gr8 baby site 4 just about evrythng, www.crib-heaven.com. Sells cribs, baby beddings sets/blankets,change table, rocking chairs, wall murals, baby clothes,strollers,carseats,bouncers,hi-chairs,potties,baby tubs, etc.!

"I'm sorry to hear about your aunt dying, here's a plant"

reply: "stop already, you mean, 'that old bat finally kicked the bucket'... nice plant though!"

Okay, here's another reason babies and plants are the same. Not a good reason. It's quite lame but it's, alas!, my truth. Ok, it tends to happen that when babies are born (someone enters the world) people give new parents flowers as a 'congrats' type thing. When someone dies (when someone exits this great place we call Earth) people give flowers. Like Sympathy flowers and other sympathy items, Birth Flowers and other "birth congratulations" items. Of course, sometimes people are allergic to flowers and yada yada yada. Sometimes people don't like flowers. Idea. If you're congratulating new parents give a flowered baby headband or gorgeous korker bow.

So maybe you're thinking my above little point is a little pathetic, just remember, it's just my take on things!

Flower meanings... I'm plaguirizing but I thought you should know what they are!

(except the black rose thing was my own little insight!)

Flowers mean lots of things. You can really read into their words... okay, I know no one has a whiff what I'm talking about, sorry.... Anyway, be it Everlasting love, Friendship, unrequited love (because you're a loser who can't get a date... just kidding!) or true, love a first sight (aah! isn't that sweet! *sigh)you can express range of emotions through flowers. Give flowers anytime for anyreason, yada yada yada. The thing is, you shouldn't, for example, give black roses (the flower of death) at a wedding and... so here are some welcome tips (for people that are clueless like me):

So I guess we get the idea of giving meanings to flowers from some place in Turkey. They started this quirky little ritual (is that the right word?)began sometime in the 17th century. Who knows? Meh.
Anyhow, at this little point in time lovers began using floral exchanges to convey particular messages. I guess necking just wasn't doing it anymore?! Then I guess no one wanted to feel left out so the Victorian era decided also to assign flowers meanings (or is it meanings to flowers?). In England, dozens of dictionaries of "florography" were published during that period. I thought dictionaries were boring enough, meh again. So anywho, suitors carefully studied these guidebooks to select appropriate bouquets for their sweethearts (and we're back to the necking thing).

Still, it's very tough to assemble a list of flower meanings as each flower has many different connotations depending on the reference. All I can say is get out from under your rock if you spend hours labouring at finding flower meanings. Just jokes, I'm sure someone really is that pathetic. Ha ha ha!
Also, different cultures ascribe different qualities to various blooms. So, you'll probably get a different answer depending on which geographical location the person belongs to whom you ask. There can be specific flower meanings that are associated with flower types or colors but mostly the flower meanings can be personalized or heartfelt. When giving the gift of flowers, people tend to personalize the experience by offering the types and/or colors that carry a significant meaning to the person or occasion.

Now the thing is that flowers are not always perfect. I mean, some mean innocence, true love, respect and yada yada. No problem there. But then, take for example sunflowers, can mean either respect or haughtiness. So maybe flower meaning stuff isn't the most exact expression of meaning. Maybe if you despise someone you should just tell them before you give them red flowers and give them the idea you are in love with them... meh.

Speaking of red roses, there are specific meanings assigned to roses. Here goes nothing:
Roses are the best way to express love. Not saying that roses always say how much you love someone so don't fool yourself. Remember the black rose of death, hm? Anywho, roses are popular all around the globe for its eternal beauty and exceptional fragrances. Different colors and hues of roses correspond to different love statement. Naturally, various varieties and colors of roses carry different flower meanings when they are gifted. Or given to people because I personally think the sound of 'gifted' sounds a little gay. Like... ok, I'll stop while I'm not ahead... well, ok, a mile behind.
So Valentines Day epitomizes the expression and feeling of love with a Rose only. Guys are so nuts. I mean it! For Valentine's day they figure they have to do crazy, extreme, difficult stuff with effort required to get in with your girl. Not quite. Well, that's not true, I'm sure some girls want big and wonderful things on Valentine's Day but, alas, my standards are very low! Just joking, no one hurt me! Please! Anyway...
In lovers' lexicon, roses have always a special place to mark the occasion and feeling of love. It has been prized for thousands of years throughout varied range of cultures, and has come to symbolize many different things. A perfect way to say "I love You" - it has been the choice of lovers in every culture and century.
Now, different roses obviously mean tons of things. I'll give you a few examples and just cuz I feel like it and hey, this is my lens so I can do whatever I feel like, I'll put the name of someone I know who I think is equated with this flower and maybe they'll check it out to feel special that their name was mentioned and buy my nursery stuff and we'll all be happy and...:

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

How I wonder[ed]... how to fix it but it still died...

I'm a freak. Anyway, I have this plant. Or maybe it would be better to say that I had a plant. This plant is called the "Star of David". It's Green. Well, not mine, mine is more brownish... eek!
So yeah, my aunt had this flower/plant. I visited her, don't know why, maybe she likes me as crazy as that is... hee hee hee..., but she gave me the "Star of David". I told her I'm terrible with plants and never water them and they always die. She told me the 'Star of David' is like a desert plant (sorta) and she said I would be ok with my plant. I took it home, I have 2 kids. If the plant was somewhere they could reach it they would eat it or something. Who knows? Anyhow, I put the plant on top of the fridge. I was protecting it but, alas, a plant on the top of a fridge doesn't usually get light which it might need. A plant on top of a fridge is also easy to forget about. Which is what I did. I very rarely remembered to water my plant. It somehow lived for quite a while despite the fact I have a black thumb, not green by any means.
Anyway, at dinner the other day my hubby said something about if my plant is dead so I took it off the fridge and it was completely lifeless, the stems were limp and brown and the leaves were brown and flaked off when I touched them. I've tried watering it for 2 days just in case (of what I'm not sure cuz I'm pretty sure it's DEAD!). Its not looking good. Moral of my long-winded, boring story: you need to water plants in order for them not to die. You should maybe give them food too if you're really ambitious. Also would maybe be a good idea to give them sunlight. Now how does this relate to babies? It's quite obvious and you've almost definitely guessed already what I'm going to say but I'm dense so I'll say it anyway: same goes for babies as plant, don't feed them, don't give them water/milk/juice/liquids, they might die. An letting them visit the great outdoors with a little sunlight probably would be ok too.
So my little tip in this regard, buy some Dry Plant food or some Liquid Plant food,
maybe water it (hey, unless you live in a desert water shouldn't be that hard to come by and it doesn't usually cost too much). Like with a plants get liquids, such as some Baby Formula or Baby Juice or etc. Maybe your baby wants boobs, that's cool too which has great health benefits, such as Baby Formula. Also when your baby is a little older you probably need to buy Baby Cereal and then Baby Food and if that in't your cup of tea maybe find some Baby food recipes to make your own, just get some sort of food, whatever. The jist you should be getting is, like Nike, just do it (trademark).

Now this brings me to another point. Vitamin D. 'What the BEEP is she talking about?' you're thinking. And that's okay, I'll explain. I mentioned that plants need sunlight. Then I said babies could probably use some too. That makes me think of Vitamin D. Cuz that is not something breast milk gives babies. They can't really get it naturally. There are drops of vitamin D and stuff that you can give your baby to suppliment them. SO here are some examples of vitamin D supplements: Vita-min D Supplements
Also, here are some references of places that tell you about the uses and needs of Vitamin D:
Which brings me to another pathetic note thing. Babies/kids watch 'Veggie Tales' movies... well, at least my son who loves them and... anyway, one of the 'Veggie Tales' DVDs he has is called "The Star of Christmas" (and it also has another clip movie thing by Veggie Tales which is called "The Toy that saved Christmas but that's neither here nor there...). Anyhow, since I'm insane I equated the words 'Star of Christmas' and 'Star of David'. Or something. And then I realized that that is another way plants and babies are alike. There are movies for kids which feature plant-like creature things. I don't know of any babies that parade around, dressed as plants in plant videos but whatever.
I figured that if you would like to check out baby nursery items and etcetera on www.crib-heaven.com you may have kids or are a very juvenile 39 year old who lives alone with 26 cats. Anyway, if, like I said at one time before I stopped talking about it, you would like to check out www.crib-heaven.com you may also be interested in kids' movies and yada yada. In that case, here are the names of some movies that feature plants (such as the 'Veggie Tales' movies):
--VeggieTales - Larryboy & the Fib from Outer Space (DVD - 1998)
--VeggieTales - God Wants Me to Forgive Them!?! (DVD - 1998)

Your opinions!!!

Give them to me if you will!

Okay, I have a question for you all if you would oblige me by answering (I love pretending I know what I'm talking about). Anyway, I mentioned that my "star of David" plant died because I forgot to water it (see, I said I pretend to know what I'm talking about/doing but I don't think I really do!) and I need to get a new one. Got any ideas of a great plant that I may not have thought of yet? One that can withstand dorky people like myself? Is it possible there is anything out there I might be able to properly care for? (I hope because I do have to little boys!) So what do you think? Your thoughts are wanted (and needed...!)

Be safe, be safe, be safe

But No WHMS classes cuz they're terribly, pathetically boring...

So there is something babies and plants definitely have in common. They both have safety issues.
I was watching ----"Living Saskatchewan (so you never heard of it, typical! hoo hoo hee hee hoo... calming down)the other day (it comes on at 1:00 p.m. on CBC Regina if anyone's interested). Or at least I think that's what I was watching (hey, this is coming from mixed up me, maybe I was watching the Martha Stuart Show). There was some guest woman who said that one very important thing with putting plants that have been indoor all winter back outside is reintroducing them slowly. It's like a half-way house for plants. You don't want convicts who have been locked up for years to be turned right into the real world (let's face it, they mustn't want to leave jail cuz at least there's no bills from the phone company, and yada yada, there) so they go to a half-way house. If plants that have been indoor being warm all winter they get shocked out of their little minds (ok, plants don't have minds, I'm just a freak!) going into the cold of spring outdoors they die or something like that. You're supposed to put them on the porch for a few hours and then put them inside and then put them a little longer outside the next day... they're plants, who cares (but, I swear, there are ppl out there who do... are you one?)! So babies are the same. You shouldn't stick them outside in the freezing cold or by themselves in the mildly cold sprng air. Actually, that's not what I was trying to say! Babies and plants both need to be safe. Cehck out our baby gates at www.crib-heaven.com. You don't want your baby thrown down the stairs quickly and introduced to the basement, you want to do it gradually because everyone will be happier... just kidding!
But seriously, besides that stupid re-integration thing that I couldn't care less about there's the fact that some plants need to be covered with blankets so they don't freeze. Same with babies, if they're cold you might want to cover them in a blanket, for example, a great organic baby by Snugglewool, found at www.crib-heaven.com. And you might want wire thingy maginys that protect babies. Take for example, you do not want your baby to get into your cabinet of cleaning supplies because, face it, you may not be all that organic and havn't changed to Melaleuca organics spray poop. Anyway, don't want to tie strings on and put spoons through cabinet handles? No problem. We've got great safety stuff. So go ahead, browse through them at www.crib-heaven.com or, for example, www. .com. And plants, well, get sometimes they droop and need wires around them or want to grow up or some poop like that that I'm not that interested in or whatever. Well, I guess you can do the same with plants that have just been seeded (from seed packets from www. .com) in pots from www. .com. Anywho...

I know of stuff that is differnet b/t babies and plants. Ready (of course you are, why wouldn't you be?!)? Babies need baby monitors. Well, don't need but whatever. Anyway, if you want a great baby monitor at a great price you should check them out at www.crib-heaven.com/ . For example, some look kinda like this: . But the thing that is differnet about that b/t plants and babies is this: why the heck would you want a monitor for plants so you can hear them? You can't hear a freakin' plant! For all you plant-overloving ppl out there get over it, you can't monitor a plant like a baby! Point made, point taken. I'm a freak but that's a whole other can of worms...!

"Horse with no Name"

An oldie but a goodie!

Ok, I'm insane, established. Now, what is the point I am trying to make? Don't buy a horse from the '70s? DO buy a horse from the '70s? Maybe this is just a list of horses who have no names? Anyway, let me tell you what I'm talking about: we've got plant names and all that jazz. If you happen to be me (tell me someone wants to be me!) you like babies more than plants. Sorry plants, but it's the truth. Anyhow, if you are having a baby or have a baby or are just admiring the one at the Russian orphanage you should get some name ideas. Unless you are into the no-name thing but heck, work with me here! Anywho, here is a site that is great, that is chalk-full of thingy maginy directories that can help you find ethnic names (African Baby names...); names by gender (or bi-gender names); other baby info; yada yada yada. It's great: www.babynames.com

Hey, plants have weird names? What about weird baby names?

Know any?

So yeah, I'm a freak. You could remove my uterus, tie and fuse my fallopian tubes together and put me on the pill just to be sure there will not be any more kidlets. But hey, the fact I'm a freak doesn't mean that it's not exciting when other ppl have kids. So they might want some name ideas. Either give some ideas of names you like or tell me the weirdest ones you've heard of! Best idea, tell me ppl's names you've heard of that are also the names of plants! Lend me your thoughts on the matter!

WOW there are so many pictures on here that I love, everything about babies just turns me to mush, I even found little baby vitamin D supplements - is there anything they don't do for babies these days??!!?

hey Blaireth, I am also a freak and believe that if everyone would be honest enough with themselves to get their freak~on, the world would be a much better place:) hang in there with your children while they are young and you will look back on these days as the best days of your life. I do and I miss my children driving me crazy, that's how freaky I am!! What a Great Lens, lots of fun and very interesting!!!
    kindest regards,
    Echo

I'm a freak maybe...

... but this lens is about plants and babies so which 1 do you like better?

I want to know this because... well, I dont totally have a reason but I just want to know. Are you like some ppl I know and like plants better than their kids (j.j.!) I mean, they can deny it all they want but they're secretly admiring their plants/flowers while their kids are talking! What do you think?

I like pointless things so...

... here are some quotes about baby and parenting

I like a lot of these because they're almost a little inspirational and funny considering the kids are driving me crazy (in a good way):
"The phrase 'working mother' is redundant." - Jane Sellman (I love it, it's true!)

"Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing." -- Phyllis Diller

"I don't know why they say "you have a baby." The baby has you." -Gallagher

"Raising kids is part joy and part guerilla warfare." - Ed Asner

"People who say they sleep like babies usually don't have them". - Leo J. Burke

"First you have to teach a child to talk, then you have to teach it to be quiet." - Prochnow (this is so true! Before my kid started talking I wondered when he would and since he started he never shuts up and I just want him to stop speaking!)

"Even when freshly washed and relieved of all obvious confections, children tend to be sticky." - Fran Lebowitz

"If your baby is "beautiful and perfect, never cries or fusses, sleeps on schedule and burps on demand, an angel all the time," you're the grandma." - Theresa Bloomingdale

"You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for instance." - Franklin P. Jones

"Everyone is in awe of the lion tamer in a cage with half a dozen lions - everyone but a school bus driver." - Unknown

"The thing that impresses me most about America is the way parents obey their children." - Edward, Duke of Windsor
"Children have never been very good at listening to their elders, but they have never failed to imitate them." - James Baldwin

"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." - Frederick Douglas

"There never was a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him asleep." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on." - Carl Sandburg

These are way too true!

Fish need lots of water for lotsa oxygen

so make them a big pond

I'm a freak. I have a freaky sense of humor. That's been established. Such as, for example, likely no one reading this (that is, if anyone is reading this...) the title of this module is kinda dorky but I think it's the greatest thing since microwave bacon, ya know what I mean??
...anyway, I thought of another reason babies and plants can be compared to one another but this time I have concluded this point makes them somewhat different (at least in this aspect). Seems babies aren't too good at living underwater without breathing nice clean, oxygen-filled air. Seems babies need to breath. Funny thing that. Seems there are ponds. There are a lot of places where you can find garden pond kits. I mean, you could go out and just make your own but hey, if you're anything like me (and I must say that if that is the case I commiserate with you!) you wouldn't know where to begin. Of course, if you're my mom you're superwoman and can make everything in a way Martha Stuart would envy but hey, for arguments sake lets go with the first example, lets say you want to BUY a garden pond KIT. So there are some places to buy kits and you could look for them yourself but I have a better idea (I have a lot of ideas but sadly wonder if many of them are very good. Boo hoo). Anyway, look below, they're pretty (hee hee hee)... but right now I'm not putting pictures cuz I'm too tired so here are some links (more hee hee heeing)
www.canadiantire.ca offers some garden pond kits, check 'em out:
Pond fish, assorted
floating LED roses
Pond Pump, 320 GPH
Pre-cut, flexible Pond Liner

I'm tired and need to nap so I don't feel like adding more links at the moment but I'll talk to you all later with new stuff later... maybe much later, depends how long that nap's for...

Anne Geddes!

Need I say more!

Ann Geddes baby dolls are soooooo cute! I think that I'll start selling them on my website www.crib-heaven.com. Anyhow, just forget that little note to myself! Anyhow, if this isn't self explanatory, I'm about to tell you that Anne Geddes brings plants and babies together, therefore they are the same!!!!! Take a look at these pics, they might not help you but they are so cute!!!!!

More Anne Geddes and other baby pics at www.allbabypics.com

Ever watched "I dream of Genie"?

Never mind, here's just some family tree geneology

Okay, I seem to understand (I know, you're thinking, "Blaire understand? Yeah right!" but there are always miraculous moments of clarity in a person's life... even if they're few and far between... well, very few and very far between...) that there is something else that is similar between babies and trees. Well, like most of my other points, it's kinda pathetic, but whatever. So anyhow, babies come from a family, babies grow up. The grown up people eventually die. And I'm thinking it would be nice to find out about your family and all that... so there's a place you need to go, it's called www.ancestry.ca. Have fun!

In conclusion...

...we're all just hippies at heart, so, go ahead, hug a tree, you might like it!!!!!

I've considered this long and hard... ok, that's not true, I've only considered it for a relaxed, moderate ammount of time. So yeah, question. Are babies and plants that different? I mean, babies have baby nurseries, plants have plant nurseries... sorta. I don't REALLY advise putting your plant in a beautiful baby crib topped off with an amazing nursery wall mural but whatever....

Another, baby people are young and green, baby plants are young and green. Baby people can be accessorized from head to toe in beautiful baby headbands or hats, baby onesies, baby outfits and everything in between. Plants can be accessorized from head to toe... well, from leaf to root?

And so babies come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors:
african american babies, asian babies, you have white babies, you have hispanic babies.
You have babies who like to snuggle and some who just want everyone to leave them alone. You have babies who are tiny and babies that are massive and etc. and etc.
And then what about your plants? They also come in every color, shape and size. Take your basic leafy plant to the one that eats bugs for a living... well, "a living" may be a little bit of a stretch but... Anyhow, you have your tall trees and short little ones. They are green, purple, orange, you name it.
So plants and babies are kinda different... but ARE they?! The purple hibiscus' don't shy away from the red roses, the Star of David plants don't scorn the Christmas trees. Neither do the babies... or at least not usually! Babies and plants don't even dislike each other. Heck, babies might even be plants and vice versa for all they know! The funny thing is, there are items to buy for all the kinds of babies and plants out there. Your baby or plant is a little on the unique, original, eccentric side of things? That's ok, check it out:
crazy baby headbands, crazy baby bedding sets and separates. Hey, if you want you can also check out some plant stuff:
Plant Containers
flowers.
anyway...
So, as I asked at one point in time before I changed the subject on myself, what's the constant? Babies and plants don't discriminate. They just don't. So don't tell them they're different... I don't think they'll discriminate against you for it but whatever!

I guess there are a lot of things a demented, weird, geeky little person like myself could go on to say but I'll leave it off here. A plant doesn't have to be green in a characterless pot, etc. A baby doesn't have to spend their babyhood (is that a word??) wrapped up in a recieveing blanket (not that recieving blankets are bad in any way), boring stroller and with a diaper and plain ol' sleeper on. You get the jist of what I'm trying to say in my confused little way... right? Choose for yourself but don't judge a book (or plant/baby?) by it's cover... okay, that doesn't even make sense to me! Ha ha ha! Meh! So there are reasons why babies and plants are different. There are reasons to say that plants and babies (of the skin variety!) are not so different. Personally I think that babies are more similar to plants than dissimilar but meh, that's just my take on things... well, considering this is my lens it's a pretty important conclusion...
-Blaireth
Important!

The Most Important Thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No matter what you child is fantastic. Seriously, if I'm saying this it must be true! My kids do every terrible thing in the book... and they're little boys so they're worse than any little girl but hey, when my boys are 14 they won't be anywhere near as bad as the daugters out there so ha ha ha...! Anyhow, after my kids driving me absolutely insane and after the crying is all done (mostly me crying) I can't hug them and kiss them and stare at them enough and on and on! Don't you dare missout!
