Baby Shower Thank You
After having your baby shower, where you received many useful gifts, you are at the point where you should want to show your appreciation. It is the time for the baby shower thank you. Do yourself the favor to do it as soon as possible. Time flies, and when your baby is born you will have little time for card writing.
It can be overwhelming to have a stack of blank cards in front of you, so here are some tips on what to do and what you should do.
Make hand written notes, it is only fair since your guests went through both time and expense to choose a gift for your baby.
Hopefully you remember who gave you the jogging stroller, the crib or the bassinette. Just saying 'thank you for the gift' is a lot less personal than 'Thank you for the lovely jumpsuit -- little Maggie will look absolutely smashing all summer".
Be sincere and address the thank you cards to the recipient by name. Thank them in the most sincere way you can, even if you think the present is horrible. Remember, it is the thought that counts.
Thank everybody for their participation, not only for the gift. Tell them it was a pleasure to spend the time with them.
Be sure to share if the gift has a special meaning to you. People love if they have given you something that is special for you.

- You've got some good ideas here. If you want to improve on this particular lens, go to other baby shower lens and see what they offer and improve upon it. Don't just go to a couple lens, spend an hour or so and you'll really get a feel for what's out there, what people are looking for, and what they want in a baby shower site.

Views On Baby Shower Thank Yous
My Friends Speak
"Just how important are those baby shower thank yous that you do for your guests?"
Well, some of my girlfriends, cousins, aunts and others shared these thoughts with me-
1. A friend - "Consider it from your guests' point of view. It lets them know you appreciate the time they took to be together with you".
2. My cousin's view "Everybody spends their precious time deciding what to get for the baby and I appreciate each and every thing. I also treasure their friendship. And I tell them so."
3. A neighbor-"I always try to make my thank yous memorable. I handpick each card, and I write something special in each one. Whenever I can, I also include a small memento of the party."
4. My aunt's view "Thank yous are an opportunity to slow down and communicate with your cousins and others. Use this time wisely."
5. And finally, another friend "My time is always so short. But I never grumble about writing thank yous. I embrace the opportunity and spend this time writing to my friends".
