Did you know?
That baby's skin is Extremely Sensitive to what comes in contact with it. Most of our organic cotton clothing is made in the United States. It is the ideal choice as it has no pesticides or other harmful chemicals such as flame retardants that can be absorbed into their systems.
It also is not harmful in any way on the skin as conventional dyeing practices are.

There is such a thing as Organic Bedding
In addition, to the baby clothing we also provide exceptional certified organic cotton crib linens for your child and as well bed linens, that are made in India. The cotton is grown by family farmers organized in cooperatives and is certified fair trade. They are paid premium prices for their organic cotton to encourage sustainability. To compliment this product range we also carry organic mattresses, pads, pillows and covers made in Canada.

Not just for sensitive skin
There is also a wonderful line of baby personal care products from Australia featured at Essere Organics providing the gentlest of baby skincare. The AROMABABY line does not contain any harmful chemicals .(found in many baby products)
Together hand-picked ingredients have been combined to produce this ultra pure and gentle baby care range.

WE'RE NOT DONE YET
We still have more organic and environmentally friendly products for you to see.

Non-Organic Cotton and it's story...
We have all heard those adds saying how great 100% cotton is and that the fabric breathes. They however have failed to mention that growing conventional cotton uses approximately 25% of the world's pesticide and more than 10% of the world's herbicides.
Each organic cotton t-shirt saves the planet from 1/3 of a POUND of synthetic herbicides and pesticides.

Consumer Power
We as consumers have a loud voice and can force change by simply buying organic.

The fashion
industry will always reflect the attitudes of the consumer group that they cater to.

As long as consumers are informed and concerned for our environment we will continue to see fashion brands taking advantage of the green attitude. This is a great thing as long as the companies keep up their end of the bargain and deliver truly green products. This means moving away from high impact technologies and finding more innovative ways to reduce waste and consumption while producing.

One Person at a time
By choosing organic, you are choosing to decrease pesticide use. This directly benefits you the consumer, and everyone in the chain from the farmers to the mills. When we make the simple choice of buying organic, we choose to support a healthier way of life for your family as well as the planet.

Calculating your impact on Earth
Your ecological footprint is a measure of the Earth's natural resources that are required to support the life you lead. Your footprint is calculated in terms of the minimum productive land and sea area that will meet your needs. In developed countries, we are using far more than our share of resources, which is not sustainable.
