Introducing a Unique Baby Gift

Let me introduce you to a new item for your gift giving. These lamps are custom-made with handmade shades. Ceramic painted baby shoes make adoreable bases for these lampshades. Each base is filled with a silk flower arrangement. The lampshades are fabric on a hard plastic. The light source is an electric candle using a 15 watt bulb with on/off switch on the cord. This ceramic yellow baby shoe with yellow flowers topped with a frog applique on yellow and white pinstripe shade would be the talk of the party. It is a one-of-a-kind gift that will be cherished for some time. It measures 10-1/2" High and uses a 15-25 watt candle bulb which is turned on with a switch on the 6 foot cord. I handmade the shade using rings, styrene, and 100% high quality cotton with french gimp trim.

What kinds of unique gifts have you purchased for baby showers?

I purchased a small, baby-size teddy bear and dressed it up with the clothes for the baby. It had a hat, socks, shoes, pants and shirt, and a wrist toy. It was very cute.
