Now you can rent TOYS the way you rent DVDs!
I first heard about BabyPlays.com on CNN and I was immediately fascinated. Lori Pope, an entrepreneurial mother of twins from Houston came up with the idea of renting toys out in much the same way that NetFlix rents out DVDs.
Customers pay a monthly fee, with an agreement to keep the plan a certain number of months (customer's choice of plans)
You use and enjoy as many toys as allowed per your agreement each month, and return the toys in the original box, using the included pre-paid UPS sticker. Drop the toys off at your local UPS Store.It's a brilliant business idea.
Children get bored or otherwise outgrow a toy's usefulness so quickly. Good quality educational toys also tend to be expensive.
However, for about the price of one toy, parents can rent several toys each month. Returning them for new toys is great - this really cuts down on toy clutter. I wish BabyPlays.com had been around when my twins were young!
