What do you know about Raccoons?
Baby raccoons are called kits.
Baby raccoons are frequently left abandoned and need assistance from rehabilitators.
Baby raccoons require a special diet and can suffer serious damage if fed the wrong formula. Therefore assistance should be left to the rehabilitators.
Baby raccoons readily accept human parents but at about 5 months of age they become aggressive and mean. This is one reason raccoons don't make good pets.

Very Nice lens. A few years back I volunteered at a wildlife rehab center in Michigan, and I was surrounded by wild babies, including kits. I tended to the animals daily, with feedings and provided natural habitats for them during their rehabilitation. Posted July 08, 2008 |
