How to plan a baby shower on a budget

Whether you are a serial baby shower planner or are doing this for the first time, you will benefit from some tips I've learned along the way. I love planning baby showers, and so I will only pass on valuable yet budget-friendly tips to you.

The first thing I encourage you to do is to read this in full. I have some great things I'd like to share that will smooth out your process from the planning stages all the way through to the actual baby shower. If you don't aleady have this, then I'd say that getting this baby shower kit is a must. As the host, you'd want to have at least these basics.

Baby Showers Are A Must

Celebrating the birth of a baby is one of the greatest pleasures in life. This precious event should be shared with others in your circle. This includes your family, friends, co-workers, associations, and others. You might even want to hold multiple baby showers, one per circle of people you are in.

You want to plan for fun

Fun in the context of baby showers does not have to imply stupid games that people only play out of obligation. Depending on the group, silly games are appropriate while more intellectual type activities are better. Think of what you do and talk about with a particular group of people. What sort of context are they in? Do the people in this group have years of familiarity with you? Or are you new to the group? All types of groups have their fun levels. Knowing that there is a difference is a great start to having a fun baby shower. From there, you can start to figure out what each group's fun level is.
